Do you worry about health problems?

I'm alone constantly. I have nothing better to do when the slightest issue comes up where I feel insecure I worry. I go to the doctor frequently. I have crohns disease since I was 13 which isnt life threatening its just an inflammation of the colon that happens sometimes. I'll be on medicine for the rest of my life. I wish I could stop worrying about health issues but since I spend a lot of alone time I feel I have nothing else to do. What about you?

no, but have a friend with type 3 diabetes and know its a huge part of his life, having to monitor everything he eats.. and before he got some 3000 dollar insulin pump he had to give himself a shot 3 times a day, and prick his finger to test sugar levels MANY times a day...

Worrying about the inevitable is a waste of time. Worrying about the not probable only makes it probable.

Yes Sly I can understand that. My latest worry is a thigh pain that I fear is worse than just a pulled muscle that I worry about having DVT. Well its because much like everyone else Im sitting all day working and I sometimes forget to excerise or even get up to stretch. I know its blown out of porportion and you know what you said.. my doctor told me the same thing back long ago when I was 15.

I agree Soul I'll admit I quit smoking awhile back not just the weed but cigs and I worry about others and friends who smoke but I cant tell them any different and I don't feel like offending them. Either way I pray sometimes and just keep the faith in G-D.

Yeah good point Spunky, I need to have more fun and get out of the house. I need to find a girl I can be happy with. Theres no point in having money and a nice car and all of that if you sit in a room all day and worry. Thats how I feel. I dont have many friends since I cut a bunch of people off for being drunks and potheads without doing anything with their life. I just didnt want that negativity around me.

I see tobacco co. owners as major criminals in a society that nobody gives a shit. I won't say more on this, but if bad luck knocks family door again i'm gonna settle this in a way none ever did before. A wake up call for many. For the moment take this as a joke.

You guys are nuts.

Enjoy the life and health you have been given. Others would kill for it. No matter how bad you think you have it, there is somebody out there much worse off loving every second of their life.

My favorite subject these days is Omega-3 fatty acids (from fish oil and other sources). This thing is a MUST for every person, yet not many are aware of its benefits.

I used to worry every day. But when we 'retired' and moved to Cancun, things changed. I see things differently now. I take time to do things instead of sitting here all the time.

Maybe it's time to make a drastic change in your life. That is what we did. We sold everything (besides our computers and cat) and moved to a place that is the exact opposite of where we lived in Colorado...best thing we have ever done!

it is normal to worry about health issues esporadically (spelling?) but if you think about it constantly, then there is a problem, and not exactly physical. Not joking: I'd go talk to a psychologist, just to get a professional opinion. It doesn't hurt, and most likely he or she will show you that it is not healthy to worry about your health continuously.

I have come to grip reality more and I completely understand where you're coming from. Do you think this is the first time I've heard that? As I said before it's just hard to come to terms with it for me personally I do need a change in my life like Lizzie said so thanks Lizzie and Stacey you're right and I just need to do something about it.
Az on the topic of omega 3 I bought the Focus Factor because I heard it on WBZ talk radio although it did not come in yet. I heard good things about it also this isnt the first time though I've been hearing about it since back when I was 16 from my mother although then I wasnt as conscious about health. I get mad at the world sometimes for having friends that are sick or worrying that someone's life is not as good as mine. This is why I have faith in G-D and I hope others do too.

Yes Im man enough to admit that I need to and have cancelled the last two appoinments because I go through times of being care free that lasts only a short period and then the worrying starts back. I will do this although now I need to be man enough to go to the doctor so he can refer someone because he's already done it twice. But thank you I agree.

Man, Omega-3 IS THE SHIT. I suffered from Chronic Dry Eyes for 2 years and after seeing 5 doctors I basically lost any hope. Some things helped for some time (like punctal plugs in the eyes to hold on to tears a little longer), etc... But nothing changed the fact that my eyes were DRY, 24 hours a day.

Then I started taking Omega-3 and for the past 2 months I'm COMPLETELY CURED My eyes are AS PERFECT AS it gets.

I didn't used to, but my dad, who's always been healthy as a horse, has an extremely serious health problem right now, so I've started to think about it a lot. A whole lot. Genetics, and all.

Yeah.. arent we all hypochondriac when we get weird symptomes? Yet 99% of the time.. even when we are certain to have something .. it turns out to be nothing... Always try to be rational.. confident and don't over analyse..

a few close relatives of mine have been in the hospital for various health issues.
so i stopped smoking, stop eating deep-fried stuff, started working out ALOT, and became a vegatarian.

not only do i FEEL like a million bucks now, but Im saving money (by not smoking or buying crappy foods) and the taste of organic foods is AMAZINGLY (and very surprisingly) good!!!
