Yeah, but even a late payment well past 30 days is not going to drop your score 100 pts.

the only other negative item is high resolving balances on accounts

I was referring simply to the impact of the one late he was referring to irrevelant of whatever negatives he may have.

all 3 bureaus have thier own way of scoring and factoring detrimental reporting such as lates, judgements and so forth. No way to tell for sure. As for getting 30 day lates taken off, is only possible if it was in fact not 30 days late, you will need proof that it was not in fact 30 days late, then file a complaint with whichever bureau is reporting the 30 and they will in turn contact your creditor that reported you. Those credit repair companies are nothing more than shams, they do nothing different than you can do yourself, which is dispute the reporting.

intresting i thought they could get stuff taken off, just based on the fact if the credit bureau does not respond in a ceartain amount of time

100 points seems like a lot for making one mistake.

if those credit repair companies are banking on swamping the bureau with 100's of identical requests to eliminate something and it does in fact fall off due to no reply within reasonable time, you can bet your ass the creditor will reinitiate the delinquency and now your back to square one, just pay your shit on time, and if you fuck up, live and learn
