Patrick is a stand up guy. He has done dozens of designs for me and would never have any reason to scam someone, especially for $20.
He has a ton of designs to do becuase of this promo, and last i talked to him he had a hard time reinstalling his windows OS.

I did not pay him $20

I paid him $100 to help him out since his car was messed up... I was trying to be nice .. I know it is not much.. but that is not the point.. he may be a good guy.. and he is a great designer.. but my site was supposed to be out 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting on him.

He was working on my site and shut his icq off as soon as i sent the money 3 weeks ago
He did icq me 3 days ago and said he was back online and would have my stuff to me that night.. but I have not heard from him since.. he is not answering his icq or emails.

Just a tip, I just had a hard drive crash myself after a power outage, the drive started spewing out thousands upon thousands of bad sector errors, and I thought for sure I had lost a large chunk of my data. I immediately unhooked the failing drive & ordered a new drive that was a bit larger. Got the new drive the next day and decided to see what, if anything, I could salvage.

I downloaded RIP (Recovery Is Possible) Linux. It's a bootable CD with tons of recovery tools ddrescue or dd_rescue is all you'd really need if you're lucky. I sed ddrescue to do a low-level copy from the failing drive to the new drive, ran fsck (file system check) mounted the new image (mount -o loop...) and there all my files were.

Turns out I only lost 10 MB of system files on a 250 GB hard drive. So if your harddrive still spins up, and you have important data that wasn't recently backed up, I suggest giving RIP a try.

Just my

I understand your situation. And as someone said before, i am not a pr for patrick. I just thoght that i could reasure you. Patrick is obviously swamped with design work and will get everyones done as soon as he can.

He said he would have all the stuff ready by this weekend which i seriously doubt. His ICQ from what i know isn't working, he has been online everyday on AIM, so that is your best bet if you want to contact him.

HP: I contacted you via ICQ as soon as I got your message but it has since then not connected. PLEASE contact me via AIM as soon as you see this. I also replied to all of your e-mail messages but never heard anything back -- are you getting them?!

I am SWAMPED with design work which is ALL overdue to my clients, a situation I am not pleased with but am trying my hardest to work through. With my hard drive crash I lost a lot of valuable time, and had to move to a new apartment over the last two days, so I've been off and on the internet as well as the work.

I am almost ALWAYS online via AIM so anyone who needs to contact me please please please do so that way. If I don't respond or am idle just leave a message and I'll be sure to contact you when I come back. You can download and signup for free at aim.com if you don't have it, or add the "AOL Buddy" screen name "Grumble" to your ICQ list -- all newer versions of ICQ can contact AIM/AOL members.

He hasn't updated his page in a long time, i wonder what he is doing. He has been promising on AIM everytime i ask him that my project would be done "in a few days" and it's been over a week now. I would appreciate if he gave me a real estimate instead of jerking me around.

He was online yesterday but he didn't respond, he should lay it out how it is instead of giving false promises. This is far more damaging to his reputation than if he just gave us a real timetable. He's a nice guy and all but this is not the way to handle business.

I downloaded AIM and messaged you yesterday morning.. still no word.

I have had my aim on non stop so if other people are talking to you on it.. I guess you are just hiding from the people you have screwed over.

WTF man.. This is very very unprofessional of you.
3 weeks... ~~!!!!!..

I am a very nice person.. ask anyone that knows me.. I try so hard to help people .. LIKE I DID YOU by sending you 5 times the money you asked for because I felt sorry for you..

You have taught me an important lesson on trying to help people out.. DONT!!

I am pretty much sick of the run around.. if you are not going to do everyones designs that paid you.. let us know so we can pay someone else to do it for us.
My site is late opening and I am rather pissed about it.

I can understand that everyone has problems.. but your computer crashes, your car tore up, you had to move lol
what the hell is next??
Stop with the excuses and stand up to your end of the bargin Dynamixx..

Sad to see a guy that worked so hard run into troubles and fall apart. Hope you can get it together soon and deliver what you promised.

Patrick is not going to run away over a dozen pre-paid designs, he is obviously having some kind of technical problem.
I think we should all chill out and give him time to get back on track

Yeah, though it does get frustrating when you're waiting for work.

It's not the money, it's the time that's being wasted.

so what you're saying is that while waiting for the design you're wasting time? You should probably have more than 1 project going at a time....

For example: While I'm waiting for my TGP design, I've got 2 blogs, 1 funnyshit site, 3 tgps, and 10-15 free-sites/SEO pages I'm building/working on.

Are you being serious?? It does not matter if it is $20 , $100 or $1000 .. the point is.. he made a deal with us.. WE PAID HIM ..... and has avoided us for weeks.

I myself do have other projects going on.. but that is not the point..
the point is ..
Alot of us depended on him and trusted that he would keep his word on doing our designs once we paid him..

He has not.. he has avoided us.. that is the point.

LOL god you people are fucking whiny. He had problems, he's been on AIM throughout the whole thing almost non-stop(yes he's got a couple projects of mine as well). But for the love of god, its a freakin Holiday weekend. SOME people have lives other than sitting around waiting for 1 project to be finished when they should have fucking had somethin else lined up too.

I've been watching this from afar this whole time and this seems nothing more than an example of a designer taking on too much work. Normally i'd say people should be pissed because of the poor judgement. But you guys paid what? 20 bucks per item? If its too good to be true it probably is. He'll catch up eventually and have a tarnish reputation to some...and a better one to others for all the new portfolio work...either way things will end up okay...everyone relax a little huh?

Dude you have to get back on ICQ your aim is off. You are throwing away some good cash taking so many little jobs. I just gave away a $500 job with updates and I have another one. Hit me when you get freed up.

Has anyone heard from him or has he vanished? I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt as he seems to be a nice guy.

BEEN CLOSE TO A MONTH !!!!

No emails, icqs, aims lol You my friend are a piece of shit in my book.

It is just almost too funny lol

I have been taught a valuble lesson.. NEVER NEVER NEVER pay anyone upfront again.

I guess you will be keeping my $100 ... That is ok because If I ever see anyone recomend your name.. I will put my 2 cents in and let them know you ripped me off.

Honestly, is it that difficult to read what I write? I know you're all upset but come on now - I've said a hundred times to contact me via AIM and AIM only. I can't follow five threads actively, ICQ won't connect, and e-mail is hit-or-miss. If you need ANYTHING please contact me via AIM.

HappyPeekers as I've told you three or four times in this thread, I haven't gotten any e-mails from you, haven't heard from you via AIM, and can't connect to ICQ. If you would just get ahold of me we could clear this up in minutes. I don't have any of your contact information besides your e-mail address and you STILL Haven't replied to my e-mail..

To any and all, please see this reply:
