Booted up a server after 6 months ...

and it's still "Checking disk.." after about 1 hour. Should I just let it go ? How long can this thing take ? It's an 80GB (Raid 0)

No, it has never crashed. I shut it down, unplugged it awhile back and put it away until now. I only used it for backing up my live servers once a week.

battery is probably going dead in it and couldn't find all the cmos information. Thats the most common problem.
