is offshoreclicks the best sponsor for exit traffic?

looking to add a exit console to one of my sites. Ive heard offshoreclicks pays 0.004 per exit traffic impression...and I know that they always pay ontime
any other place that actually pays more then 0.004 and also pays ontime? Not interested in ones that pay the same or less, just anything that pays more...if you guys know of any. thanx

you shouldn't worry about how much money they pay per 1000 impressions, but how many impressions they count. Shaving sponsors, ops i mean exit sponsors are not good in maths and don't count good. Actually they don't count good at all. hehe If offshoreclicks AND any other exit sponsor counted the real number of exit pages i wouldn't worry for signups any more Expect to have 30% or less of your impressions counted with any exit sponsor.

The exits don't count if the surfer closes them before they load. Also keep in mind the small amount of people that use popupkillers and some even surf with java off. But mostly the appearance of shaving is because alot of surfers just know enough to kill them before you get credit for them.

regarding people closing the exit console before it loads properly....
that brings up something else... which would give you a better chance of having your exit console counted:
*openning the console when they enter your site, or when they leave?
in which case is the surfer "less" likely to close the console before it loads completely?
what do you guys think?

Blurred entrance, or exit loads better since it's hidden underneath
Dunno if it's allowed though.

You'd be better off making your own exit with links to e-mail programs or such. me thinks.

My 2 cents...
Why use exit sponsors at all? My approach has always been, if the exit sponsor can make money sending your exit traffic to their sponsors, then you can make more money sending your exit traffic to your own sponsors.

You can even go as far as using exactly the same sponsors as the exit traffic company. Do use some originality though, and don't simply copy their wording and approach.

Plus, as an added benefit, you can target the exit traffic to match your niche.

If you need a simple script for exit pop-ups, just ask and I will post one here.

dewpoint, actually Right now, i am poping up a page to my main sponsor, advertising join4free when the use enters the site(the popup opens it behind the main site, so a bit less annoying). But doing the math, im thinking i can prolly make 80-120% more using a pay per impression exit console.

dewpoint, because some webmasters are too lazy or don't know how to properly use an exit console, so they'd prefer to just hand it off to a per impression sponsor...remember, the reason people send traffic to per click and per impression programs is because they are generally going to send their shittiest traffic there, because if their traffic was any good, they'd send it to a per signup or partnership program...

Sorry, for me a dialer isn't an option. I absolutely refuse to use any sponsor that redirects traffic to a dialer. Brings up visions of boiler rooms and other scams to me.

My motto has and always will be to be honest and upfront to my customers. Find me a dailer that says in big bold print "Each Minute Costs $...," and I will change my mind. But as long as the cost is buried in a scroll down box, or in small print, then this is simply unethical.

I used Offshore Clicks for my exit traffic buy I found there pop-ups were getting a bit much. Now I only use them for 404 traffic.

Puts a couple hundred extra bucks in my pocket every month so I am happy.
Here is my referral if you are interested in signing up.

people plz stop saying that all sponsors shave.
yeah, maybe they do but it is becoming an accepted fact now, so they will feel more comfortable about shaving.

About the shaving thing...
I disagree that most sponsors shave..
You may think they are shaving, but lets not forget a few things here..

Lets say on a given day you had 10K visitors..
So, you assume thats 10K exits..Right?

Well, if thats your calculation, you are WRONG!!

Why??

1: surfers close the exits before they get counted..

2: alot of surfers have javascript disabled..
The exits wont open..

3: many surfers utilize ad killers & popup killers..

Go to your stats..
How many visitors have javascript disabled??

Also, not all exits are operable with all versions of javascripts..

Lets say visitor A's browser only handles javascript version 2.5, but your exit console is written for javascript 4.0..
No pop ups here pal...

Just a thought...

Dont even worry about their click count. You have to measure the shit yourself and look at how much you are making per measured unit and decide if you are happy or not. Oh yeah and then make sure you get paid.
