How Does The WebMaster Referral Program Work With Sponsors???

I sit here and I see tons of sponsors offering $100 - $200 for every active webmaster referred under you but they dont seem to ever give your account the credit? I mean i have referred tons of active webmasters who have sent signups( if you want to go that far even) and never got the credit.. Just wanted to know if I am missing something???

the don't usually pay you for the webmaster referal unless that webmaster gets X number of joins... usually 5, 7 or 10... something like that.

And even then... in a lot of those cases, you yourself MUST send sales to that program as well in order to receive payment on referals.

They usually have to send a set number of sales. Anybody know what the requirement is for Reality Cash? I should be getting my $200 pretty soon.

OK ya i was wondering because most of the programs I have referred people to, I send them traffic also and get signups with them...So basically if they get X amount of joins you get the credit? I wish programs would elaborate on that before you referred anyone because unless you get someone who sends in massive amounts of traffic under you, the %5 webmaster referral bonus is worthless...at least to me anyway.

Sponsors should really go into detail on how many sales the person who you refer has to send and you as well to get it...I hate to say it but isnt that very misleading??? I think it is anyway, maybe its just me

As soon as you refer as webmaster to RealBigCash.com, they appear in your Webmaster Referral downline. However, you don't start earning commissions until that webmaster starts making sales.

When most sponsor programs give out a referal bonus, whether it be $100, $200, $250, etc. there are usually terms that go along w/ the promot... either you need to refer a certain number of active webmasters, those webmasters must refer a certain number of joins within a specific time period, etc.

Some, like us, might do a combination where you not only can win $$$ for recruiting the most active webmasters in a month, but you also get your regular % on what they earn and are eligible to earn an extra $250 BONUS if you refer 3 new wembasters that each send at least 25 sign ups within 90
days of their approval!!!

Ya that makes sense but say someone is new to the biz and reads that each webmaster referal they get ears $100 - $200 etc. But it does not elaborate on the fact that they and you or whatevr need to send X amount of sales. Isnt that (crap I cant think of the word). Maybe someone can help me to remember that word. Its like If I signed up for a car and It said, I have to pay payments on it 1 year later but does not specify that when I signed up. But you find out after. Maybe that was a bad example but Im only saying this cuz maybe its time to explain that part instead of thinking people already know there is other rules to it so its not misleading..Just one of my thoughts.

I have a buddy who rescently got in the biz and he was the one who brought it to my attention and I started going through my referals and stuff as well. Thats how this came up.

i simply pay 15% webmaster referral... no catch

from what i've seen that's among the best rate around - and i send checks to WMs twice a month who only refer others... so yes, you will get paid

I hardly feel that 5-10% is a bad deal. If you refer 100+ webmasters sending a few sales daily, it'll add up to a nice bonus every month. There are quite a few webmasters who make a living simply by referring webmasters.

Ya but thats the thing. 5-10% is only profitable referring over 100 plus webmasters. But my point of this thread was not the % issue. It was more of the lack of effort explaining the hidden things in terms of X amount of signups the referer and person you referred need to get at to receive the $100-$200 plus webmaster payout. I would like to see it explained so there is no hidden gimmicks behind it. Like i said, its just something id like a affiliate company to have that none do that I have come across.

My comment was in response to this:
"I wish programs would elaborate on that before you referred anyone because unless you get someone who sends in massive amounts of traffic under you, the %5 webmaster referral bonus is worthless...at least to me anyway."

Even sending 10 webmasters that make $100 a week each... that will earn you an extra $50 a week, 200 a month, etc.. Multiple that by 10 and you'll have $2,000 extra...More than most people make working a 9-5.

The bonus payouts are in general, a bit confusing. Each does have it's own terms if you do read into their program deep enough though...Just like a contract on a car purchase. There is always fine print.

Good point but I still do not see it in fine print. Like i said, a buddy of mine brought this to my attention. If your knew to the biz or never have dealt with the referal aspect of it, there is not enough info that affiliate companies give you explaining the fact that you need X amount of sales to get the $100 - $200 plus bonus. Most people you refer send say around 5,000 hits or so to try out a new company and how they convert. If they convert then they will keep pushing you, if not then go elsewhere. Now I dont know a ton of people that promote just 1 program so you really have to have a ton of webmasters under you to make a living off of webmaster referals unless you have been referring people for years or have got tons of guys who have very nice traffic. To me, they are considered quality webmasters. Now out of every person you refer say, how many do you consider quality? quality as in sending signups. Some may argue every signup counts but its keeping webmasters bringing in the constant flow of traffic happy so you yourself do not lose out on money if you refered them.

i do agree with StuartD! if you are an affiliate you should be able to send sales to the program.
