its pretty simple champagne isnt champagne if its not from champagne region
asti is italian so its spumante just like spanish african etc its all nice but no champagne, even the french have a word for champagne thats not from the champagne region its champagnoise
dont get me wrong the best not-champagnes like www.veuve-amiot.com can be even better then the real champagnes...
if you dont like sweet ones just skip the ones saying demi-sec, they injected sugar under the cork which makes them sweet
