Wow it's amazing how threads like this make it so all the racist cowards can come out post how they really feel. You guys do this atleast once a month. i live in a Brady Bunch kinda town, i'd say about 99% white. Sometimes I go weeks without seeing a black person walkin around here, but when there is, theres always a cop asking them questions & asking for their ID. Its crazy.

I live right by a walking traill (its a trail that goes on for several miles through different citys) and i saw a cop car driving on this walking trail and stopped a black guy and asked him for his id, gave him some shit, and then let him go.

i see this kinda shit all the time, almost like the police saying "get out of our town!" or something. the cops around here do 3 things:
-stop black people
-catch speeders
-go to accident calls

as sad as this is going to seem to say (but it IS true), white people pay GOOD MONEY to live in these 1% or lower black-resident towns. They'll pay $250,000 for a "decent" house (not even a good house), just to live in a practically black-free town & raise their perfect 'Leave It To Beaver' familys in them. Sad but true.

Contact with outside world and a knack for borrowing ideas/discoveries and refining those ideas (ex. gun powder discovered and used by Chinese in China for firecrackers was utilized for a new weapon, the gun - and with the gun overthrowing people who fought using swords, arrows, and spears became easy) and the genesis of a culture that promotes the development of new ideas is, I'd believe, the most significant imprint of the white man and has allowed him to dominate the world. Being able to throw off religious dogma/lunacy and replace it with philosophical thought and eventually science, and travelling abroad where white men could start anew (North America) are unique and very important features in the shaping of the world we see today.

People pointing the finger and saying white men are the Devil or responsible for the most evil are wrong. All groups have taken part in atrocities against others and their own and continue to do so. No group has a monopoly on 'evil'. All men are capable of the same goods and evils.

There is one thing i've always been curious about. Growing up in small town white America as I have I never really had the closeness with anyone that was black to ask them. (Now, this question could apply to Asian, Fat, etc. but since the discussion is about Blacks I thought I might could get an answer)

This is in no way stereotyping it's just a question which I would like a real answer to...

Why is it that there are events/organizations like The Miss Black USA pageant, United Negro College Fund, All Black Fraternities, etc. (there are also other races/cultures that have specialized events/organizations). These things are great at assisting people in rejoicing over their heritage or learning more about their cultures. But, if there ever was a Miss White America pageant or a white sorority that there were no blacks admitted to wouldn't that tend to bring the ACLU and other civil liberty groups into full action attack and that would be considered a violation of a black persons civil rights.

On the flip side though if a white or other race of person sued a black organization wouldn't they be villified for trying to be "superior" or some other equally absurd accusation and be laughed out of any court system in the nation?

its quite simple really... most everything you see is dominated by white participation & often that is due to the institution of racism. white people know it exists today & in some small part, many participate in it not because they WANT to be racist, but because its the "norm". "special" ethnic pageants & other functions give minorities the opportunity to participate and excel without the possibility of institutionalized racism.

when this will end? possibly when racism in america ends but you can tell by this thread that won't be happening anytime soon. minorities feelings about racism are REACTIVE whereas many whites racism is PROACTIVE, meaning minorities simply are racist because they feel they are hated by whites & many whites simply hate someone because they are a minority (ie. of dark skin tone).

that's why i find it funny when white men on this board get angry & lash out when i state facts about history. i'm not placing blame nor did i say "the white man is the devil" LOL. white men have done much in advancing society and no one denies that. notice how white men love to take credit for the "good" but constantly ignore the "bad". why? because its ok for them to kill a few people to get what they want and "advance" society right? as i said in a previous post... the white man gave money value, other peoples of the world simply mimmicked these ways & still mimmick this material greed & degrade their society in the name of "advancement". did you ever stop to think that life IS actually BETTER the simpler you make it?
