.XXX with the current sponsor (the ICM registry) will not happen, not this time and probably never. ICM cannot meet ICANN's technical guidelines first, and they have yet to be approved ethically.
Also, the people claiming to currently own .xxx TLDs are in for a shock, under ICANN's rules those domains will have no rights on an official TLD, so unless they get hits currently, they are worthless. |

If they want to keep us "in check", wouldn't this be a better solution? "They" get what they want, we don't have to make too painful sacrifices: An "xxx://"-protocol; we'll use a modified http-protocol which old browsers won't understand and updated browsers only work with it if browser-set parental lock is turned off. Doable? I think so, just haven't thought about every little detail. I'll leave that up to the one patenting it, do it! Patent it now, and have the whole industry backing & pushing it as the preferred method if .xxx gets legislated & enforced. Fuck Asscroft and religious freaks who think we're sinners but who secretely jerks off to the most perverted shit out there, rape dogs and whatnot, etc.
