in order for that too happen all the international countries would have to come to a consensus...it's not like the country tld's where each country owns the domain name.

if the U.S. tells companies they can't have adult sites on .com then just get a third party in another country to register them for you or keep them under a company outside the U.S., or use a registrar outside the U.S.
