Audi has a sporty A6 with the A8 engine and a stick. i think it was an S4 or close to that. Very fun to drive. If the position of the clutch pedal does not bother you, it is worth a look. More fun then the A8 and plenty of room for most things. The A8 is just a little too tame for me. Not dogging the engine or anything but it is a little big and bland.

As for the Audi i don't like it, i'd rather go with the 745. However I think for a similar price you can score an E55, which is smaller but rapes most cars on the road today.

Very though decision.
Both cars are very nice. The A8 W12 - was car of the year.
The 7er with the new facelift looks great too. I think it's only about personal taste. Even that I'm a big BMW fan (I own a 3er), I would probably go with the A8 W12...

Gah, anyways, I own a 5 Series BMW, the 745i would be my pick - it's an absolutely sweet bit of kit. Unless you wanted to go for the 6 series, but im assuming since you've narrowed it down to 2 models you know what you want.. go for the 7..

I can totally agree with you on this one a RS4 is already quite big (based on A6 platform), has a much more "sporty" look and fell.

And the A8 is indeed ONE LARGE FUCKING CAR...
