Very good question and im sure you'll get a lot of replies however, without a doubt i have the best cure and best of all its really simple.

Right before you start drinking, say to yourself 'im only going to have 2 or 3 drinks all night' and have some self control and stick to it.

And the whole "regards, Lee" thing = retarded btw.

The best way to cure a hangover is to prevent it, actually. Get in the habit of drinking a glass of water and taking a couple of Tylenol or aspirins BEFORE you go to bed, as in after you're done drinking. It will cut down the severity of a hangover by much more than half.

Once you've got a bad hangover, however, well.... you just have to deal with it. Drink plenty of water, take a few pain killers, try to eat something, and later on in the day I always order in a big bucket of greasy fried chicken and fries.... it's hangover food. ha ha :D

I was in a club till 4am this morning and then up at 8:30 for my first round of golf. Today has been a great day, the weather is simply amazing, something we're not used to here.

Have you noticed when you drink a lot of alcohol, you piss a lot more? It almost seems as if you're pissing more than what you're drinking. It's not far from the truth. Alcohol supresses an anti-diuretic hormone that sort of regulates the body's water usage. Once it's supressed, you start to piss like a race horse. Excessive amounts of water are passed out in the urine; so much so that water is sourced from your organs, including your brain. This leads to your brain literally shrinking due to dehydration and that is what causes the headache.

So, the best thing you can do is have the odd glass of water between every few drinks to maintain your hydration, or just have a whole bunch of water before you hit the sack.

But if you don't take preventitive measures, then the best thing you can do the following morning is just drink water. It isn't nearly as effective as taking care of yourself the night before, but it's the best option available in the morning after.

i had the worst hangover of my LIFE, a couple months ago. this is what i did...

1.) keep a cold washclothe by you for when you get those "im about to puke" hotflashes.
2) puke as much as your body wants to. it wants to de-tox, so let it.
3) water, water, water. drink water! even if you're puking it back up 5 mins later (like i did), keep drinking it.
4) excedrin migraine (for the headache)
5) dry toast (burn it as much as possible then eat it)

Be hydrated always. The day before drink enough water, the day of, while drinking, before bedtime drink even more water, and when you wake up drink as much water as you can.

Having a healthy body where you regularly do cardio and lift weights will allow for a faster recovery time, mostly because your body will filter / deal with the poison more efficiently.

So... be healthy, be fit. And of course drinking water is a big apart of that.

rehydrating yourself is probably the most important thing for a quick recovery. gatorade is probably your #1 choice

step on a scale, you're probably 3-4lbs underweight right now and might look a little leaner in the mirror.... no water
