Just got back from seeing Sahara.

Decent flick but very predictable....Even down to certain lines the characters use. I found myself saying the lines before they did on a few occasions.

Still....Not a bad way to kill a couple hours of boredom for a few bucks.

Compared to the Indian Jones series, was Sahara better, the same, or worse?

I read the book as well as several other "Dirk Pitt" sagas. From the previews and reviews I've heard it sounds like Sahara follows the book storyline pretty closely.

It was a good read, so I expect I'll enjoy the movie too.

The Jones series blows Sahara out of the water.

It looked kinda "formula" in the previews, but sometimes formula can be alot of fun. Might have to check it out.

I liked it, even if it was predictable. "African military...ship of death!!!" [gives two thumbs up]

Enjoyable. Great scenery and photography. Nice locations.

It's a " tongue & cheek " story... and they reming you along the movie. Way better than a few of the last movies I saw ( Constantine, Hostages, etc...).

Ive read all the Dirk Pitt books so eagerly await seeing this movie. Been trying to get it from Kazaa and other networks since it came out but no luck getting all of it yet. Just hope its better than the lame ass attempt they made of making "Raise the Titanic" into a movie back in the late 70's.

come on man, how could it POSSIBLY be better than the Indiana Jones series?

especially Raiders, those are classics.
