ya can't copyright a name. You can trademark a name. But I think the expression "go fuck yourself" may be a little too commonly used for that. be like trying to trademark "hello".

I've looked but I really can't tell the diff between 'copyrighted' and trademarked'...
that or my pea size brain can't comprehend the differences between the two...

So, in general terms, can someone elaborate on the two for me?

They're kinda self-explanatory.

"Copyright" = the rights to the copy. Be it written articles, photos, sculptures... whatever. When you create an original work, you are the owner of the copyright. A name cannot be copyrighted.

"Trademark" = A registered "trade" or industry or service "mark". "Pepsi" is a trademark name. Their blue & red round swirly symbol they put on their cans is a registered trade mark. But since that is artwork, there is also a copyright.

That's about as deep as I'm gonna spend time on it... try doing a search on both terms. You're bound to get endless pages covering both in depth.
