I Hate Newspaper Websites that Require Registration
I am amazed that many newspaper websites require registration to read the news. 1) Most news comes from the wire services so the content isn't exclusive. 2) It alienates the user (the surfer isn't good enough to have access, he has to beg for it).
I have only registered for one newspaper site: The Wall Street Journal. I even pay for it. But, c'mon... the Sacramento Bee? The Contra Costa Times. Negro, please. |

That bug me not site is cool... but it's still a pain in the ass. I created an account for my local newspaper, but why would I want to register to view a story in a different state/country. It's very annoying.
