Have you ever been to Ireland? How is Ireland in the fall (october)?

I'm about to book some very cheap flights. I've never been to Ireland so I figured I'd go there for a week this fall.

Do you live there or have you been there?

Is it nice in the fall or all soggy?

Enlighten me.

The weather begins to get worse in October, not that the weather is ever wonderful in Ireland.

I can get a return flight for 20 quid. I'm wondering if it's worth it considering the weather conditions in the fall?

Depends where youre going, I guess your gonna go to Dublin or so, always nice there, its always rainy like Scotland or cloudy. But the gorgeous views and the whiskeys make up a lot, Irish ppl are friendly too.

Well my flight would be to Dublin to begin with. But I was thinking about doing some hitchhiking and stuff. Soak in nature a bit.

Hotels are the expensive thing in Ireland.

Well at the best of times I found Ireland to be kind of cool and often damp. But as for the country itself I found it to be alot like Newfoundland but without all the drunks. And a whole lot less sex.

If you go out to the bars, becareful to not get caught in a "lock in."
AND DO NOT TRY AND SHOOT PORN while you are there.

Ok, myself and a pornstud did shoot a bunch of footage over there. And it was really a hoot and pretty damn good and often funny. But someone told someone else something and the next thing I knew I had 3 "boys" visit me to make sure it wasn't their sister/daughter/mother/etc that did it.

It was kind of scary at the time because I never been confronted about being a pornographer before. But the funny part was one of the guys came back the next day with a girl for us to shoot. (Go figure)

The Irish are nothing like the Irish of the United States and even less than the Irish of Canada. (Save for Newfoundlanders) They are wonderful warm people that enjoy a "good go" and can talk for hours.

Go and have fun!
