				Paypal sending auth pages?

I get frequent emails from "paypal" claiming they need me to verify my info for security checks. Now, I have always assumed it a scam and disregarded them, not even clicking the links.

The main reason for this is because the emails they send to are not attached to paypal accounts. (this prompts my quick judgement at least). So, today I decided to check it out. Looking it over, it certainly looks legit. Well, of course with the acception that the paypal.com portion rides off of an ip as a directory. All links direct to legit paypal.com domains. This is a scam, right? Certainly this is not a sale's strategy on there part to get you signed up? Either way, damn good for someone, albeit maybe a scammer.

View the page source and look for the FORM tag in the HTML. The ACTION= part will not point to a real PayPal script, it will point to some script the scammers are using to collect your data.

100% sure that all of these are scam ! If PayPal needs additional information or so, they will request it on their own site, after you've logged in.

Yep, didn't so much question it was a scam....but man, it is a good one.

They really took time. Here is the thing though, you would think Paypal would see that ref in there system as the ip has legit links.
