As we all know we are made up of energy (electricity). You've seen it in the Matrix and it's a proven fact. Physics 101 states that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. It can transfer from one object to another and take on another form but it cannot be destroyed.

Your "soul" is your energy. When you die your physical body, the vessell that held your energy is place ceases to be and slowly starts to decay until there is nothing left. Your energy, however, dispurts and becomes a part of the energy pool that surrounds us. The energy can dispurt to great degrees or lesser degrees. When someone see's a "ghost" they are seeing a mere buld up of energy that has not fully disperssed. One of the most common occurances during haunting is the lights flickering. It's an anomoly in the electric field causing this disturbance.

Using my theory, there really is life after death. Death means that your physical vessell is no longer but your soul (energy) moves on. Whether it goes into a cat, a dog, a bug, or even a battery...the essence of you still survives.

Well, there's a lot of residual energy in a corpse. In fact there's energy there untill there is physically no substance of the body left at all. Even a rotten old bone contains energy, which the right bone-munching creature could convert for their own purposes.

What is that then?

That is why grave yards and ancient Indian burial grounds are "haunted". All of that residual energy looming around.

A vast majority of the body's energy leaves it when the physical body dies.

Why do you say that? Where does it go?

I think it remains in the body and slowly gets released by decomposition or whatever.

The electrical energy you might be talking about which exists in the body is produced by the living body, once dead, the energy stops being produced, it doesn't fly off or something, I don't think.

Our impulses, nerves, muscles, brain, etc all run on electricity. When those functions cease to perform because they lost the energy then it has to dispurt instead of remain in the corpse.

Energy can exist on its own... but the question is; can energy post life do anything life-like after we are dead with no outlet, like our brains/bodies to energize or does it just linger for all eternity and never amount to anything other than what it is. Does it nestle in other living organisms? Is there another dimension our "soul"/energy moves on to? It's fascinating to say the least.

Isn't it funny how we measure energy intake via food in calories, not volts, amps or kw/h.

We don't use electricity to keep us going, robots use that. Try metabolism for humans. Minute electrical signals may be used to stimulate various parts of the body etc. But that electrical energy amounts to sweet fuck all.

When you die, you dont release an emp blast or some other rubbish like that. The lightbulb thing simply sounds silly. The amount of energy you would need to do that would be enough to kill you electric chair style 10000s of times over.

As for dying, see decomposition reactions. You will find laws of conservation of matter and energy are obeyed.

However this is just my opinion. You are entitled to your own, though I wouldn't exactly call it scientific.

I agree with a few bits of your statement but not the overall idea. My views are based on research and personal experience.

For me nothing makes sense unless you can, with an open mind, at least consider the possiblilty that we are much more than our physical bodies and that we, as energy beings, are using a physical body as a suitable vehicle to function in the physical world, much the same as we use scuba gear to function effectively underwater.

The particles of our physical body and any energy associated with the body itself (such as minute electrical, chemical or heat energy) does of course dissipate and is dispersed in the physical environment eventually upon our death. The body gets cold, our fluids evaporate, our flesh rots and/or gets eaten and even our bones turn to dust and get blown away by the wind leaving nothing (assuming we weren't buried).

Our true self/spirit/energy/consciousness however exists beyond the illusions of time and space and therefore has always and will always continue to exist.
