what is really happening, is he has a harness around his chest with a strap running up his sleeve which is attached to his main harness. These pics are old, from around 1994 and I read the article back when i used to skydive, it was printed in the USPA magazine.

A) Look at the first picture. His hair IS blowing upward. The 'chute is open, it isn't like he's travelling 130mph.
B) I've seen the videos on Max-X and two or three other caught-on-tape shows. You can watch every second from the time he leaves the plane until the time he touches down.
