...Nobody Uses Netscape...
I was looking over 40,000,000 hits worth of stats today, and it showed me that the top 10 mostly used browsers are Internet Explorer versions 5 through 6...
No wonder netscape is pissed at microsoft  Maybe if netscape coded a good browser, that loads fast, and is not as laggy, people would use it... LOL ------------------ Free Adult Hosting! No header Advertising! |

Yeah i have super fast systems, and netscape still loads slow, and lags alot.
I love it how they whine that microsoft IE has a monopoly, but reality is, nobody likes netscape, thats all |

I agree, I used to take special care to make sure my pages would display well in nutscrape and IE.
But after reading some server logs I said fugget, its not worth the extra time. ------------------ Did somebody say Free Content? |

Tho it would be nice if pages displayed at all in netscape. I used both browsers for different things but I hate when I come across a site where the body of the page doesn't display in netscape.
No need for that. If it happens when I am reviewing I kick it back. |

Use Opera... fastest browser on the planet -- loads fast even on slow computers -- loads sitse faster than MSIE!!!
It also has an option (easy to access) to turn off popup windows... it also does email and bookmarking is very intuitive... I love Opera so much I even registered it... Opera.com ------------------

Netscape is alot Faster then IE Cuase i E stalls for like 10 mins when it loads

IE6 + iwon.com as a start page makes things slow...and I'm on DSL
I still use Netscape 90% of the time...I don't have to worry about fuckwads changing my homepage or adding bookmarks...I use Netscape Mail and have never had a worm or virus...yet, on the boards everyone and their mother complains about worms and email virii and I feel left out as I don't get them.... as for Netscape loading blank pages, that usually happens when someone forgets an ending tr, td or table tag...sloppy coding, plain and simple...I've stopped using sponsors that have webmaster areas that are unuseable by Netscape users....if they are too sloppy with coding to check both browers for webmasters, why should I send my traffic to them when I'd be led to believe that their sites don't work with Netscape surfers...sure, it's a small %, but like I've posted numerous times before, if you hate netscape and don't feel like coding for it, then please put a netscape redirect to my sites, I'll take that traffic.... ------------------ "It's all fun and games until somebody gets their scrotum caught in the door." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "It is not how right or how wrong you are that matters but how much money you make when right and how much you do not lose when wrong " - George Soros +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ $84 per trial signup? Funny to hear to these webmasters shoot down Netscape and praise MS IE when a lot of webmasters I talk to shoot down Microsfot as a company in whole!

It really seems like 95% of all viri or attacks are all directed towards M$ products like IE or Outlook. And as mentioned before, autohomepage scripts only work on IE, or am I wrong ?

Time for the AOL/TimeWarner/Netscape community to come out with a seperate OS which is gonna embed Netscape just like M$ does it with their IE. They have enough money, why not spend some on development of a different platform ? Possibly a "mainstream" linux distro ?

I have fucking 1 in 3 conversion ratio with IE... IE rules you all.
with netscape, I have 1 in 39892 conversion ratio. Ofcourse, im a bit biased since bill gates is my cousin. |
