and that's BS cause even if the guy partially reclines his seat you can still use a laptop, you just don't get a decent view of the screen..

I always recline a little bit and last flight I sat in the row infront of the exit and my seat didn't recline and i asked to move and did so I could sit in a seat that reclines

I was coming back from Toronto once on BA, club class. Place was empty, some fuck came and sat right in front of me, reclined his seat way back (one of those "slip like in a real bed" things) ... all before the fucking plane had took off.

I had someone behind me and besides, didn't want to sleep right away, so didn't want to do the same.

Couldn't watch the movie, scratch my scrotum or anything. Stewardess took pity on me but didn't want to wake the slumbering beast so in the end a bit of BA issue sparkling wine over his bald patch did the trick.

When the stewardess looked a bit peeved I just said "I didn't pay what I paid to sit in what might as well be economy class".

Fecker.

I had an old guy infront of me stand up and yell when he couldn't put his seat back in coach. I stood up (towering a 1 and a half over him) and asked him where he would like me to put my legs.

I've never seen anyone sit down and STFU so fast.

That was the last time I ever flew coach, it's not worth the hassle.

What I dont understand is the fucking seat only recline a few inches..why all the bitching by either party.. I have been able to eat, read, burp, fart, sleep, drink, pick my nose with a person in front of me reclined.. it doesnt make that much of a difference unless you are a very large person, if you are a very large person.. you are going to be cramped anyhows..why be an asshole and try to refuse the person in front of you some comfort.. you would think you might want to recline too and the person behind you shouldnt give a fuck either ..

My mother was a flight attendent for United Airlines for many years. I have another relative that works as a flight attendent for Alaska (who entertained us all at Easter brunch with his impression of a passenger with a cell phone). I am a very considerate flier. I simply do not agree that someone has the right to put restrictions on someone elses comfort to ensure their own.

I think the best resolution would have been to be polite and not put your chair back. But ask the guy if he would let you know when he's done using the laptop so then you could recline your chair.
