Too much work involved, but I'm sure someone somewhere could do it. Not so long ago you could make ten avs sites every day, submit them, and rake in loads of cash on upsells. Don't think you can do that anymore.

If TopBucks thinks its not worth the effort anymore, neither do I.

The whole biz is based totally on marketing. Avs? The same - Once you get seriously involved with avs and start bulding and driving traffic to your sites, you have chances to make cash from sales, and then upsells to "gold" (etc) and affiliate sales - (These chances increase once your sites are in the system and getting traffic from aother sites also in the system)
100k should be a benchmark, rather than, Can you make - Look at the possibilities and the probabilities become certainties.
But - I hope you are also looking at other methods of marketing - Stick with one and for sure, the bubble will burst sooner or later -
A nice earner I got involved with a few months back was pay per click - It took some time to get profitable, but, the surfers I sent into the system are recurring really well and every DAY my take is better than the previous day. Both sending traffic and site building works very well - Check out the system of pay per click in my sig. -

Sounds like you want to depend on the small AVS sites for traffic. Don't think it will work.

Build one good, solid premium AVS site and then market it every way possible. Free sites, small AVS sites, TGP and MGP galleries, build TGPs of your own, link lists, etc.

If you have your own sources of traffic, maybe. If you plan on relying on AVS' own traffic, I would doubt it UNLESS you spend a lot of time building filters that can convert the networks' traffic. It takes time cuz you only have 1 chance a day to make a guess re what elements/text items would convert to get to your goal.

Here's a source of other FREE adult traffic: http://justtraffic.blogspot.com

AVS ? I don't think so...
But if work with PPC SE (PaySE or UmaxSearch) - then my answer is YES, it's possible.

I think AVS are so of the past. You can make a lot more with TGPs and mainly with Link Lists.

AVS is dying. Just look at the linklists, which were a major part of AVS traffic.

There are hardly any AVS listings anymore.

Not sure I agree. I think AVS hit a low awhile back and is on a rebound of sorts. If things get crazy with government regulation, AVS will sky rocket. Building your own site is easy to say, harder to do. Content that keeps surfers cost $$$.

Either way, everything is about traffic. No traffic no sales. Got it sell it, need it, buy it! Luv to say "see sig"

Get some good GAY niche (Old v Young is great) content from a SMALL sponsor.... Build a nice AVS site - Use UGAS and GMP

Build a couple of free sites pushing to the AVS and submit to -

Manpics
HunkHunter
SinbadsBookmarks
LinkMeAllOver

Repeat daily...... I dont do it any more, it gets fucking tedious after a while, so I dont mind sharing

Forgive my AVS ignorance, but are you saying that you get sponsor content and use that for an AVS?

Isn't that against the sponsor's ToS?

If you're concerned about it ask the sponsor first. I have yet to have one say no. Just make sure you upsell them.

Incidentally I started with AVS in October and am close to the 100K level now.

Also, do a search baddog had a good thread a while back.

You can do anything if you have the skills, experience, talent money and time to back it up.

It's not all about traffic, it's all about converting traffic.

This will take the skill to put together something that the traffic wants to buy. So you need to know what you are buying for content, able to design the best way to display the content, experience on how to generate the traffic. And in that order.

The idea that you can throw as site together and send traffic to it to make money is SO 1998!!!!

TODAYS INTERENT IS A LITTLE TOUGHER THAN THAT BECAUSE YOU'RE COMPETING WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE FOLLOWING THE ABOVE GUIDE LINES

I think you could for sure. I would suggest some high end deluxe pass sites and some paid gallery spots to get going. Good luck.

PS I do not think just submitting sites to the avs directory and counting on the upsells will work like it used to in the old days.

More important than building a new site every day, is promoting the one you have. Your thought process is so 1999. Learn to AVS in 2005. There is a difference.
