Actually, answering you all, he is in Baton Rouge at a RED CROSS staging area helping to load trucks and is going to NO in the AM to help with the distribution and then helping with the loading of the victims on the trucks to transfer them to evac centers in Baton Rouge or elsewhere...anything else I can do to keep you "WIDE ANGLE SCOPE" folks informed??? proof positive you should stick with promoting your sites to affiliates and stay out of opinion forums on the world condition....

Jackson was headed into New Orleans with state Sen. Cleo Fields and three buses to move 450 students from Xavier University to safer locations outside the city and then make repeated roundtrips throughout the night to help others escape.

My god the ignorance is just unbelievable. In a time of crisis some douchebag has the nerve to bring race into this??? Wake up you moron, New Orleans is a city that is 70% black, and is one of the poorest in the country (in terms of major cities). Had the same type of tragedy happened in some "white" city the exact same thing would be happening. The looting is the result of needs and survival, not the result of race. Why don't you take some of that energy that you are using toward your racist attitude and get out and donate like a rational and thoughtful human being should. Just an FYI to those of you reading this that happen to have a heart; you can donate to the storm victims at the following link:

How did I blame it on race by pointing out this is not a normal occurance in this type of situation? The poster contends the exact same thing would happen anywhere in the same circumstance but research refutes this. That is my point.
