Your contention was that it was a result of race because you responded to a post which read:
"New Orleans is a city that is 70% black, and is one of the poorest in the country (in terms of major cities). Had the same type of tragedy happened in some "white" city the exact same thing would be happening. The looting is the result of needs and survival, not the result of race."
Whether it was the norm or not was not the issue, for you.
