As you can see, they're talking about Canadian/American relations, which is Canadian politics as well as American politics. Sigmund Freud was an MD that had published several books. He is the most referenced author in history and his work influenced literature and clinical psychological care for decades.

Freud's work has been shown to be garbage and is illegal to be taught in an accredited university in the first world (outside of historical context).

Being published, referenced, or even educated does not make you immune to being a fool or in the case of Anne Coulter a propagandist.

CBC is about as close to an honest, truthful news network as you'll find anywhere in the world. I know a lot of American intellectuals who would love to get CBC Newsworld.

You might want to review why CBC pulled Terry Milewski from covering the Apec scandal at the request of the PMO. The CBC isn't perfect but is certainly better than FOX News.
