Sooo... they have a pill out on the market that lets you drink all you want without getting a hangover, but the pill that would cause you to consume less alcohol is possibly not going to be released because they want to encourage responsible drinking? Who underwrites their research? Anheuser Bush?

Read the article again. The pill that lets you drink without a hangover is a different pill. The pill they are talking about now would make you drunk and stay drunk with less alcohol.
