Big Players: who wants to make mad cash on interest?

I recently got into a little thing called casino gambling. I originally thought I had only lost 5k... that was the pre suicidal state I'm in now, lol... I just took a look at my transaction record and not even being able to legally gamble, looks like I'm in the hole a whopping 50k!

Exactly seven days ago I placed my first bet that would change my life, and will have an impact on me for the rest of my life.

* BEFORE YOU READ FURTHER *

This is NOT a charity thread, this is a business proposition. I need a loan of 50k and will negotiate an interest rate with you and pay you a fixed amount per month until our contract expires. I'm not a fly by night person, I know many people on this board personally.

Secondly,

this thread will be forwarded to personal friends and business partners of mine. I would like to apologize for my poor decision making and behaviour over the last week. I hope my actions have not made you lose much respect and trust in me. I vow I will never gamble again in my life! Gambling ruins lives and families. I strongly urge others to stay away from the bright lights and alluring colours that draw you in. be strong! You will never win! I learned this the hard way.

To the person(s) looking to take me up on my offer, I look forward to doing business with you. This is a low risk investment with a guaranteed return.

For others, I will be liquidating many of my possessions this month including an Acer notebook, as well as four other pc's that still havn't even gotten to me yet (two Toshiba notebooks and two Dell desktops) will also be up for sale soon. Will also be liquidating domains and anything else I find that is of value.

Once again I urge everyone else to stay away from gambling. Seven days ago I had never gambled on anything in my life, and today find myself over 50k in debt because of it. I almost wish it had been drugs I got into, like most *normal* people my age LOL. Don't let your greed get to you, and if you do decide to gamble for the love of GOD pull out when you're ahead! The worst part is thinking back to times when I was thousands ahead and not pulling out! It's the kind of stuff that will haunt you for a while.

Before I end this post I just wanted to aplogize one more time to my friends, family and business partners for this mistake.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Sincerely,

Andrew Katrib a.k.a SmutGiant

Wow man, this seriously sucks, being 18 and blowing most of your money on casinos.

edited: and then again, if you suddenty started gambling and lost $50k within a week, then there's kinda risk that you can do it again.

When the greed and the rush hits you, $300 hands of blackjack on a screen seem like nothing.

Hold on, you lost $50,000 at blackjack? Were you doubling down on four and hitting nineteen or what?

The minute you start gambling just to win back what you lost, it's time to go home (or unplug).

That really sucks man, but I am confused as to how you plan to pay back a 50k loan? Selling a couple laptops surely isn't going to cut it. How do you plan to pay back 50 grand with interest? Not trying to be a hardass, I am just wondering.

My friend, it is IMPOSSIBLE to have lost 50000$ by playing 300$ hands in blackjack. Considering a house edge of 0.5%, and approx 6 hands a minute, and even if you played full time, that means 40 HOURS A WEEK!!, here is your expected loss. To not make matters complicated, I will not calculate the doubles and splits because of the little variation in 40 hours of play.

60*40*6*300*0.5%=21600$
Even if I double with the standard variation, which the chances are EXTREMELY low because of 40 hours a week making a somewhat long run, you would lose 43200$.
And dont forget, I calculated you played 300$ a hand FULL TIME, non-stop, betting 300$ hands after another.
I DO beleive you lost money though, but not near 50000$.

House edge is much higher unless you know exactly how to play. Also, ever heard of multiple hands or trolls?

With all respect, no one that is smart with their money is going to loan you $50,000 on that statement alone.

I really do hope that things work out for you though.

I found it hard to believe myself... and I was thinking I hope it's reverse transactions that it shows, but it says "Visa Card" next to the said transactions. I'm going to talk to their support right now

Why? You can always toss the credit card and hit the bankruptcy court.

First of all, you're a fucking idiot for doing this.
Secondly, the best thing to do is almost always to strike a deal with the company/bank you have a debt to. They want their money, and they know that a bankruptcy will prevent that from happening.

So, explain the situation to them, propose a realistic payback plan, show proof of your current income/expenses and they probably will want to make a deal with you.
