Actually made a sale with them in the past 14 days?

I made one the 1st day of the period, within about 10 clicks... then nothing since...

Went from 1:250 avg, to 1:1000, to 1:2500 this past period...

Just curious if its everyone or just me... =) Also they no longer show referral urls...

Me thinks they had to turn on the shave switch, to pay for the 20 new sites they just put out...

Are they even counting signups anymore?

I used to use siccash about a year ago..sent them over 300,000 clicks & not a single sign up..I think they're bullshit!

Well I don't send any traffic to their affiliate program but all of my dealings with them have led me to believe that they're honest ;-)

They lease content from me every month and their bill is always paid on time... That's a good sign! lol Besides, I think if you check around you'll find that Shaw Internet has a good rep.

And, shaw has various reps. Some say they brad is honest, some say brad is an asshole.

I just know my conversions have dropped in the range of 1:250 to 1:2500
within 3 pay periods...

Was supposed to get back to me on Fri, but... didnt... meanwhile, Im sending traffic to em, and not getting paid one bloody cent...

Ive actually lost about $400 bucks promoting them this past pay period...

Ahh well, what ya can do...

Im more asking of others experience this past period, than bitching at them shaving... atleast thats what its supposed to be...

Your comments say nothing about their honesty in dealing with webmasters.

I don't trust anything connected with Brad Shaw.

Maybe you are not being cheated -- but I know it is a common tactic for these programs to give you a token signup when you first sign up -- why do you think the minimum payout is $50? They give you a "free signup" almost immediately to get you excited -- you throw up more links -- many times that is the last signup you will see -- meanwhile they pocket your chump change and hope that you forget to take down the links... or they hope that you try to wait it out... there are thousands of "newbies" that get used this way -- that's how they bank... if you aren't converting -- pull out now.

Don't bother calling them.

They also lied to me on the phone. Twice they told me my check was in the mail -- I waited patiently for three months -- fucking liars.

I know others that feel screwed by him also but not too many people will bitch about Brad Shaw -- he's a "big player" now -- I wonder how he made all that money...

The internet is a lot like the stock market -- every time someone wins big -- there are lots of little guys getting fucked hard in the ass.

Siccash was the first sponsor i ever used and they always paid me on time and i had pretty good conversions.
However i stopped using them because they adertised with an 250$ bonus when you had done more than 30 signups. After getting over 30 signups i emailed them several times to get that bonus, but didn't get any reply. It could be a mistake though, but i really don't think so.

I, like most sponsors, only notice accounts that ARE cheating. there is no need to claim it. Either someone IS cheating, or someone IS NOT cheating. Sponsors don't make monet by calling honest webmasters cheaters.

Your account was flagged because of a violation of our terms of service and guess what you whined then like you are whining now! Instead of just cancelling your account without pay of any kind, which we had every right too, we came to an agreement. Being that it was a per click program you were in...we agreed to pay per signup for two months of your traffic. This was agreed upon and it was also agreed upon that we did not want anymore of your traffic. You cashed this check which clearly stated that you were being paid a FINAL payment of $30 per signup for two months of traffic. Final being final payment that would be issued to you as an advertiser in our program.

If you had a problem with this then why did you cash that check? Why? Because you were well aware of the circumstances and you are just trying to stir shit now. Well, guess what I have the best damn memory and records on the internet and you are not going to pull this bunch of BS with me.

It was 20,000 clickthroughs in a month -- and if that is not enough for you to remember my name -- it doesn't really matter. I have just made the decision to avoid your programs. To be fair I must say that you eventually paid me $90 for those 20,000 clickthroughs -- the CTC stats did not display signups and I had no desire to argue with you -- $90 was better than nothing. You said I could keep sending you traffic -- but why would I bother when your new stats software was showing me converting better than 1:400... and yet you claimed I was converting at 1:6666 on the same traffic with Calvin. How could you expect me to trust you and send you traffic anymore? I guess you can't afford not to care about what I think -- otherwise you would not be here. There's no point in me calling you a liar about this because I have no proof -- but I was lied to twice about my check in the amount of X dollars being "in the mail".

More importantly I was upset that a decision was made to not pay me -- and no notification was given to me as to why, 2-3 months -- not until I made many phone calls did I find out that I was canceled because of a very small text link at the bottom of my site above one of your free content pics (it was actually the girls name taken directly from your site -- and her name was linked to your site). You claimed this was against your rules because it was a blind link -- BUT your rules page clearly stated that if any of the free content was used -- it was necessary to include a text link, near the content, and to link it to your site... This is exactly what I did -- this "cheating" is what you finally admitted to me -- a link to your site with the name of a very hot girl that was on your site -- if that is cheating -- then I am definitely a cheater. To this day, this is still how I link paysites and my conversions are excellent. The only thing I can guess is that you paid some moron minimum wage to surf for cheaters -- and this idiot didn't even know your own rules -- nor did he bother to notify me that there was a problem.

Maybe you jumped to the conclusion that I was cheating -- and that I didn't deserve this notification... You have made your decision -- I have made mine. Nonetheless I was very disappointed with how I was treated by your company.

If I don't trust you -- that is only my opinion...

If you really want to remember who I am you can check your tax records -- I still have your stack of pay stubs in a shoebox in my closet ;)

So there you have it. I don't just talk shit about programs without justification.

That is correct -- 20,000 clickthroughs in one month -- 3 signups at $30 each -- $90.
I was happy to have the $90 -- rather than nothing. I'd was better for me to pretend that I didn't care you were fucking me in the asshole -- $90 is $90 -- otherwise it was clear to me that you wouldn't pay me anything -- and of course you can pay whoever you feel like because you and I know that you have no obligation to pay anyone on a click program.

Yes the $30/signup was agreed upon. Brad Shaw did tell me that I could keep sending traffic... and you assured me on the phone that I would be paid for it. But like I said -- at that point my trust in your program was gone.

In my opinion, this past year has been the worst. Summer was very slow. From reading the board it seems some webmasters have done well this year and some have suffered a bit. This is a ever changing biz. There is a glimmer of hope tho, there will always be horny people (good times or bad) We just have to satisfy their appetite.

When you talk about "shaving" (joking or not)
It really leaves a bad taste, to me it is somewhat slander.
I would advise anyone who isnt happy with a sponser to find another one. I would beware of the "fly by night sponsers".

Its kind of funny how some people complain about tech support being slow, Maybe I am lucky, but I have always had fast answers. I even had an acount with fat pockets hacked a few days ago (which I FREAKED) but with in a few hours it was taken care of by Mike at DJ productions. On a saturday no less.

Once again Boneprone knows what really happened and I can tell you neither Shaw or the Fly were at fault. It was just a HUGE misunderstanding.

Ok. Here's what really happened. And it was when Derek was the customer support guy not Tonda back then. Tonda handled Fly's account after he left because he was still banned.

First of all, the same exact thing that happened to the Fly happend to me. However I handled it in a cool manner, called and talked it over with Derek and Brad and everything blew over ok. Fly's approach was a bit different, which may have resulted in the outcome.

At the time Amateur-Beaver had 2 different pay per click programs. One was the "text link" pay per click program, and the other was the "click a pic" program. The pay per click on the pic program payed more.

Many of us used both programs. Both programs had different linking codes. I say again, many of us used both programs! The Pic and the text program.

Here's what happened. They looked at some sites looking for cheaters of the programs.

They noticed on my site I was pushing the pic program, but didnt realize I was also pushing the text link program. They wrote me and told me I was in violation of the terms because I was not sending traffic via the pic as required by the rules.

I calmly called Derek and told him hey, I am obeying the rules and I am using the pics as required.
We looked over the site together as I was on the phone, and he said go to the middle of the page, and that there was a link going to the program with no PIC! I told him correct! The reason was because that link was for their other program, it was their text link program, and that was one of the text links.

He talked it over with brad, and we all chatted about it, and all was cool. they apoligized I thanked them and that was the end. I became good friends with Derek after that and later became good friends with Greg.
So all was cool.

Then the next month The Fly writes me and tells me his situation. It was the exact same situation I had gone through. I told him what to do, and it would be cool.

Fly seemed to be a bit more aggressive than I. Lets just say he wasnt as calm when dealing with the problem, and this is what affected his outcome.

Sometimes when dealing with customers, the person who calmly calls and explains in a freindly manner does better than the person in the same situation in an aggressive angry manner.

So you see no one was really at fault. It was a huge misunderstanding, but just like the attitudes fueled on this thread, the tempers were so high by this time it was eaiser just to cut the ties off and go separate ways.

Fly moved on, and I stayed with Shaw for months later being payed on time with no problems. It was just a misunderstaning that took two cool heads to fix, and in the long run it payed off.

Moral of the story is, Neither Shaw or The Fly are crooks, but hot heads that dont like fingers pointed at them.

And thats the bottom line cause Boneprone said so.

Brad's very lucky he wasn't sued by me. I got bad legal advice at the time, but the statute of limitations is not up.

You are wrong about one thing Boneprone -- I was totally calm -- I was too nice... Tonda was very nice also -- how could I be upset with someone so sweet on the phone? Maybe someone over at Shaw Internet just figured they could take advantage of me -- I am not a confrontational person -- unless you press me against a wall and give me no choice -- I prefer to walk away from a fight if there is nothing to gain. As many times as I called I could never get anyone but Tonda... Brad was always in a meeting or moving around boats -- I had no idea to Derek was. You are just telling me now that Derek was the moron that didn't even bother to look at my page closely enough to see that I was following the rules they provided with regard to using the free content with the text link program. The information about the "cheating" text link to their text link program came months after my check was supposed to have been sent out -- and after I had already given up due to their negligence and lack of interest in helping me.

Well I've given this some thought -- and my conclusion is, "Go Fuck Yourself" Shaw Internet. This was no misunderstanding -- it was willful negligence. There is nothing that can justify their behavior other than an apology. If you don't feel you owe me an apology -- my point is made all the more clear.

Shaw Internet walked all over me then -- and here you come and try it again -- Tonda comes in with accusations and tries to discredit me. Does anyone really think I would hold a grudge for a year and a half if this was about shaving?! No. This is about common respect. I was advertising *your* program -- I was making a sincere effort to send you my best traffic -- I even told my friends about your program... you had paid me several thousand dollars. You had the top ad spot on my page for many months! What do I get in return? A big slap in the face, accusations, and lies... Tonda seems to forget that I *never* whined to her or anyone at Shaw Inernet -- all of our conversations were pleasant... even though most of the time I was just on hold (haha) and she seemed to be trying to help me. Is Tonda a good liar? Does Brad Shaw pay her to lie? I have no idea but I'm damn curious. Too be honest I actually felt bad for her -- paid to tell lies. I suppose she is probably paid well to defend Brad Shaw's reputation on message boards -- trying to discredit a webmaster that was making a sincere effort to advertise Amateur Beaver (which is no longer online -- go figure...)

If I was really trying to cheat you -- why the fuck would I be so pissed off a year and a half later?! I was trying to sell your site! This is about respect. You think you can just push people around and they will go away -- wrong. Maybe if you were fucking AT&T or MCI you could get away with blowing people off -- but wake up -- this is a small world -- you need to treat people with more respect if you expect any in return. Maybe this is all about money to you and you have no morality -- in that case I'm very sad for you.

Am I bitter Brad? Hell yes. And it's not because of fucking money. I could care less about your damn money -- you can shove it up your ass. I hope it makes you feel real good to have lots of money... maybe you can afford to buy some more friends to kiss your ass.
