I hate that.. I hope the little angel gets well soon!

If her fever goes up any higher give her a bath.. it will more than likely bring it down ..
Good luck!

do you have any gas drops for babies?
Tylenol works very well for fever..

Pedialyte is for Rehydration fluids and to treat infant diarrhea.

Give her a bath.. it will calm her down and bring her fever down while the gas drops are working.. she will probably be ready for bed when you are done.

Good Luck!

I am a mother of 3 so I know your pain

probably something for kids, although i'd check with a doctor first as some pain meds have things in them that can screw with the liver, stomach and kidneys. she'd def need a very small dose though

and no need to feel worthless, at least she's got her daddy to take care of her and not something like this

Once you find that magical thing that makes her feel comfortable and distracts her you will feel like you are on the top of the world. but until then, and even after then, you'll still spend many nights crying.

try distracting her when she gets fussy. Talk really silly to her, use high pitched voices and noises. try everything. be as silly as possible.

childrens tylenol, the grape flavoured stuff that comes with a dropper. just give half the minimum dosage as she's so young. So half a dropper full.

you may want to invest in a vibrating chair. it helps sooth the fussiness and sooths them to sleep/

Did you take her temp? It's really important to know her actual temp.

If she has a stomach infection/bug a BRAT diet is what the docs usually recommend. If her fever is over 100 call the doc.

Bananas
Rice
Applesauce
Toast

This drives me nuts ok. I have to vent.

My gf's sister just had a baby (only cause she was jealous that she was no longer the center of attention in the family after her bro and my gf were expecting) and moved back home here. All her and her boyfriend do is yell, throw temper tantrums and fight with each other. In front of the child. Like I mean seriously fighting. They spent one night in my basement arguing and shoving each other, right in front of her. He tells her he is sick of her shit and she storms out in a blizzard threatening to kill herself. WTF

They spend all their money on fucking pot and the mother is always making her bf do everything for the baby the second she starts crying. I don't get it. Aren't people suposed to grow up once they have a child?

Two nights ago I had the worst dream ever. That I was smashing a doll with a hammer, made no sense to me, didn;t bother me any but...... Social services took the baby away and on the day we were supsoed to get him back the foster parents hid him and wouldnt let me take him back.

All I did was SCREAM over and over "give me my fucking son! I can't live without him, I'll die without him. I need him so badly"

I woke up sobbing like a scared little boy. It still chokes me up telling this story

Do you find that you just stare at your baby with a tear in your eye and wonder "gee, is this for real? how can this be?"
