People Who Sell TGP Spots - why don't you ...

Come up with some stats for how much traffic the "Average" gallery link will get?

I buy a LOT of spots from the big guys all the way down to smaller niche tgp's in the 10k/day range ... and 90% of the time I am told that the seller has no idea how much traffic I will get. I've pretty much stopped asking.

Now I KNOW that the thumb / text link can have a HUGE effect on the number of clicks, but why not just give a range? Like, 1-5 spots get 20 - 40k uniques. Even a huge range like that would be better than nothing.

BTW, I thought to post this because of this thread.

That is all, just had to throw it out there.

In closing, if you have gallery spots for sale, please post 'em in this thread ... even if you have "no idea" how many clicks I will get.

Thanks,

-Phil

I think it has more to do with the quality of the galleries submitted. If they are shitty, no one will want to see them.

Jawanda that is a good question for sure... Here is our biggest problem... Gallery spots fluxuate in traffic everyday (they are kind of like stocks hehe). We actually have a cheat sheet here with "approximate" traffic flows you should get from spots you buy at GTS. I always try to underpromise the amount of traffic, because if I say you should get 20k a day to your gallery spot and you only get 15k, I know you will be on my ass about it. But if I send you say 25k instead of 20k I won't hear anything at all ;)

We try our best to let our buyers know what they can expect to get but it's difficult to gauge sometimes.

I hope this answers some of your questions...

DH,

Yeah, that's pretty much what I figured, but I had to ask anyway because at times it can be frustrating.

Thanks for the reply
