question to guitar players

If you had a 7 string dean Avalanche would you trade it for an Epiphone Les Paul with gibson pickups?

Here are the pics of the guitar.

Hell yeah. Nothing beats the tone of a Les Paul.

HELLO PEOPLE he said trade it for an Epiphone Les Paul

Epiphone sounds like shit compared to a real Gibson even with decent pickups..... Keep the 7 string for what it is and buy a real Gibson Les Paul. Trust me I have played hundreds of guitars and own over 10 including a Gibson Les Paul. I would never buy an Epiphone

Shipping it to you would be killer :/ I like the Dean but I find it's lacking balls to the walls tone.

Swap out the pickups ...... DiMarzio, Seymour Duncan, or EMG's should bring that baby to life

i thought about that. not sure exactly what I want. The pickups in it now don't allow for much overdrive on the lower strings. ya gotta really crank the gain. Pickups prolly aren't hot enough. I got them set so the strings are almost sitting on the pickups, really kills the sustain.
