Anything you can hide, they can unhide. If its on the HD it can be recovered.

If you run WinXP you can code every folder.

The quick and dirty way would be to go to folder options and choose "do not show hidden files and folders". Then, right click on whatever folder you want to hide and choose "hidden" under the attributes. Of course they're still there, but they won't see them at a glance. Then turn "show hidden files/folders" back on when you get to Vegas and you'll be able to see them.

Seriously Battuss - they will find "something" if they want. Also, it's not the actual customs folks that are the problem - they are just doing what they do. It's just that other elements are sheer crap - they'd piss on their mothers grave for a dollar - totally incapable of even looking after their own.

If your are just talking of information - like webmaster stuff - nada problem.
It also may be an idea to encrypt your drive anyway in case it gets stolen.

Ya can try Bestcrypt, fucks em up nicely and takes time to crack - tho I got more if you want to know about em!

zip your shit, rename the extention to a dat, move it into c:\backup

if they ask what it is tell them you have another computer at home that backs up to the laptop. If they ask you to open the file, the program that opens it is on your home computer.

My suggestion: fdisk, low-level format and install Lindows.
