Anyone know how to fix this IE problem?
It's on my kids computer, I think maybe they got a virus, but anyway, every time anyone starts IE5 it comes up with "navigation cancelled"
I have f'd around with the settings for hours, but can't get it to connect to the internet anymore. The strange thing is that it's still on the network and can use the network printer and stuff... but no internet connection... Have you tried going into your Control Panel and then Add/Remove Programs.. Then Choose Explorer and a console will pop up with three options .. Choose Repair Explorer..
It will reset it to default as to where it was when it was first installed. If that dosent work try Restore previous Version of Windows and then Reinstall. Just a guess.. I have spent many hours going through things like this but I have a Restart CD with my COMP that I can just throw in when all hope is lost and instead of reformating just basic restart of original programs. This way I dont loose any data.. Good luck man... |

Check your tcp/ip and lan settings would be my first move...

Yeah... the have a virus scanner but it's out of date
