I'm amazed that some of you are dense enough to assume that everyone against DUI are either sheep or hypocrites. Maybe some of you dumb asses would change your tune if you knew how it feels to lose someone you love to DUI.

Do you know what it's like to drive down a road and see blood stains from where your mom had lain and died because of some jackass who thought he knew his limit? I do. And she did NOT deserve to die along the side of some dark road with her head smashed open.

It doesn't matter that you didn't kill someone. You could have - and that's enough. Maybe next time some of you dimwits who thinks it's ok to drink & drive might stop first & think what it's like for the victims or survivors.

You should file charges against him for kidnapping

Thinking the same thing. :)

He should just be glad that he wasn't envolved in an accident. Seems like his acholcol level was low so the cop did him a favor or he should never drive again being sober. :)

Want some interesting reading. Google the laws throughout the world on DUI. Some are funny as hell and others are down riight scary.

The only one that I recall, but not what country is : If you are caught DUI, you go to jail, the car is towed, and if you are married, your wife goes to jail as well.

I was surprised he only loses his license for 90 days. I know a few people in PA who lost theirs for 6 months, got their cars towed and had to complete the courses, too. I know 2 dumbasses in NJ who also lost theirs for 6 months, but weren't ordered to take any classes.

that's bad, friends sometimes can get you in trouble.

I noticed your sig, you are anti drink and drive but im guessing you're fine with burning one then running to the store for munchies or smoking a joint while driving somewhere?

baddog 12-14-2004 08:59 PM

myjah 12-14-2004 09:23 PM

Trixxxia 12-14-2004 09:38 PM

Although it's going to be tough with the fine, loss of license, costs and any other penalties they impose - be thankful that they may have saved your life, if not saved you from a worse outcome. (Having to live your life paralyzed or with the thought that caused someone's death or lifetime misery)

That's just an automatic loss of his license for 3 months before he is even found guilty. If he is found guilty he will lose his license for a year, as well as all the other penalties I mentioned earlier in this thread.

It is just a matter of time before someone with a lot of spare time and spare money (that wants to prove a point) fights the automatic 3 month suspension law we have in Ontario...you shouldn't be able to punish people before they are even convicted of a crime.

EZRhino 12-14-2004 10:15 PM

Should have thought about that before. You're fucked now :1orglaugh

johnnyhey 12-14-2004 10:16 PM

wait til you get a hefty fine, community service and have to attend AA meetings. then it gets REALLY good. :)

Problem with that is that they are a danger to society - it's a Catch22 - innocent until proven guilty, however, if it's a flaming alcoholic they can kill someone while waiting for a court date. Sucks really -I wish people would be careful and not drive drunk or let their friends drive drunk. :(

Spunky 12-14-2004 10:24 PM

I learned my lesson well... one nail in the coffin...2 more and I will never drive again
