if you only had a few drinks and think you are close to the limit, next time do this:

as you are doing the field sobriety tests, take deep slow breathes and breathe as much air as possible out of your lungs.

Then as the cop gets ready to make you blow the breatheolizer, really blow out all the air in your body (don't make it too obvious)

Then take one quick little breathe right before doing the breathalizer and don't blow too hard.

this will lower your B/A level a few points and probably would have saved your ass.

my friend had no licence and wanted to go home! Kept telling me drive i said no no no no no no no no and then i finally gave in when i tough i solbered up. I was in the car sleeping for a couple of hours trying to wear the buzz off!

i assume he wasn't drunk as REALLY drunk (hammered) like he had no idea what he was doing... 1-2 beers in 2-3 hours in strip club will not decrease your driving skills at all, so everyone stop bitching...

over the limit in some states is like 1 or 2 beers, and what the hell do the cops expect when there is strip clubs, bars, restaruants or whatever, ofcourse there is not always gonna be a designated driver

Its one thing to be a regular drinker who gets behind the wheel and something different when someone just makes a mistake like having a few too many at the office party before heading home.

When I did criminal law, I cut my teeth on DUI defense. The vast majority of DUI cases I saw were just regular decent Joes out making a stupid mistake and not bad people.
