I'm about 99% with you on this Quiet. After my divorce, I've gotten so used to living on my own again, I thought ok this is n't really that bad.

However last night I went out with the kind of girl that fits every single thing I'm looking for. I'm talking 110% perfect.

She's got supermodel looks, college educated, super bright mind, has her own money, ultra nice personality, fantastic sense of humor, killer body, integrity, sweet, sexy, I could go on and on.

So guess what? I'm already head over heals and today I'm thinking finally I've met someone perfect for me again and that 1% of me that has missed living with someone is already fucking up my head again.

During the 9 years that I was married in the 1990's, I became a different person...more independent and less willing to put up with shit from a significant other because "the devil you know is better than the one you don't". Since my divorce almost 5 years ago, I've dated here and there but haven't found anyone that can keep up with me...(haven't found one in my income bracket or even close that I could stand) and the more I tried to look past the $$ thing the more I ended up getting used. More recently I think I've either shut down altogether or just given up. Sure it would be nice to have someone other than my teenage boys to go to the movies, concerts, ballgames, or dinner with... but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
