:mad I'm getting pissed with Firefox...

It's crashing all the time now!!!

It crashes mostly when I have multiple tabs opened and I click a link that will open in a new window.

Do you guys know what I should do to prevent this from happening in the future?

my first guess would be to reinstall and possibly try a reboot.

my laptop was recently haveing a similar issue with IE. when it had been running for a while and id open a new window it would lack to a stop and blue screen, its fixed now though.

how many extentions are you running?

I dumped a few of them and that same problem went away.

Firefox is the most stable browser yet for me.

Did you upgrade over a prior install?

I haven't updated since the latest upgrade, my copy is working just fine. Once every couple weeks it locks on a site or two but nothing major at all. It seems to lock whenever I go to GG&J though.

I came across the problem once I upgraded to 1.0 (no extensions).

I eliminated the problem once I reverted to .8 on one machine, and .9 on the other.

I had issues with the middle-mouse button (open-tab function) - click on a link and CRASH, but it is the best browsers out there, IMO.

the 1.0 version introduced some fatal errors to my system. I often start Ffox and it just shows me the window, but none of the buttons work.

so I dumped it, and installed Mozilla 1.7.3

I am not sure why people are using FireFox. Internet Explorer works great, never had problems with it, loads fast and does everything I want it to.

firefox is a little slower than ie but it has some pretty useful extensions. i use both and can switch between the 2 on the fly so its all good
