Monitors??
I am looking for what type of monitor to buy for our new workstations in the office. Ill be buying 3, and we want them to match, want 17" and dont want to spend a bundle either, a slimmer model would be wonderful. Any suggestions oh great and wise webmasters?
Thanks! -Nikki/NikKay ------------------ NikKayyy http://www.HotWiredNet.com |

I've got a Samsung...
Real nice monitor, has some damn good resolution, not all that expensive for a 19.. Definitely get a "Flat" monitor, reduces glare and looks better. Just dont get a Sony, those suck, they have 2 wires that go behind the screen, which is part of their new "grille" system, but you can fuckin notice them bigtime. |

Yep, get a ViewSonic..
I have a 17", works great so far. The only thing that I don't like (my fault anyway) is that I didn't buy a flatscreen model. Don't be a dumbass like me and go get yourself a flat one ![]() |

Whatever brand you get, go B-I-G. I've got a 19" and wish I would've got the 21"... when talkin' monitors, bigger is definitely better.

Stay away from Panasync they totaly suck ass. The only good thing about them are the "short neck" version. Makes my 17" as deep as a 14"

Get a cheap branded trinitron. I.E. The flat screen ones. SO much clearer and better than normal screens.
I have cheapo Avitron trinitron.. Cost like $200 like over a year ago, and I love it. Not the greatest monitor on the block, but it works for what I do (17"). -Phil |
