Monitors??

I am looking for what type of monitor to buy for our new workstations in the office. Ill be buying 3, and we want them to match, want 17" and dont want to spend a bundle either, a slimmer model would be wonderful. Any suggestions oh great and wise webmasters?

Thanks!

Viewsonic is great.

I got a 17" Gateway from eBay for $100 (including shipping) but the monitor eats ass.

i'm using a Princeton Ultra 17+ on my PC and an Apple Multi Scan 1705 for the Mac

but i highly recommend the new monitor from IBM

it's the IBM T220 LCD monitor, the world's highest resolution display

check out the 3,840 by 2,400 pixel detail

only costs $22,000.00
hehehe

I use an IIyama Vision Master Pro 451.
It's a great 19" monitor but too large for gallery design.

I've got a Samsung...

Real nice monitor, has some damn good resolution, not all that expensive for a 19..
Definitely get a "Flat" monitor, reduces glare and looks better.

Just dont get a Sony, those suck, they have 2 wires that go behind the screen, which is part of their new "grille" system, but you can fuckin notice them bigtime.

Yep, get a ViewSonic..
I have a 17", works great so far.
The only thing that I don't like (my fault anyway) is that I didn't buy a flatscreen model. Don't be a dumbass like me and go get yourself a flat one

Whatever brand you get, go B-I-G. I've got a 19" and wish I would've got the 21"... when talkin' monitors, bigger is definitely better.

Stay away from Panasync they totaly suck ass. The only good thing about them are the "short neck" version. Makes my 17" as deep as a 14"

Get a cheap branded trinitron. I.E. The flat screen ones. SO much clearer and better than normal screens.

I have cheapo Avitron trinitron.. Cost like $200 like over a year ago, and I love it. Not the greatest monitor on the block, but it works for what I do (17").

I've been having my Adi Microscan 19 Incher for what, 3 years now... it's worked like a charm... was the best monitor on PC MAGAZINE's top list back then..

go for 19 incher at least.... next thing on my list, two monitor desktop.. the way to go.

why two? Because if I don't get one for my significant other also, I'm _really_ fucked
