who knows a nice but affordable hotel from the Dec. 30th to Jan. 10th? Not too far away from the Internext? Any hints appreciated!

THX!

Suncoast in Summerlin plus a rental car.

New Year's Eve on the strip is $400 a room this year.

Not too expensive... The Flamingo... or circus circus although is about 10 mins from the mandalay. If you're looking for something nicer.. you can try to hit up the mirage, but like all big casino/resorts.. they are probly booked.

on the other hand the flight costs double if i leave before the 10th - so i thought it might be better to spend more on the hotel and do a little sightseeing after the internext. so i'll check out some hotels that mentioned here - but it's not that easy from Germany to get a good deal.

Sun Coast , Texas Station or The Fiesta

Check The Orleans also.

All are nice, but not on the strip, which is why they will be cheaper.

Bring your back pack and a sleeping bag! That will save you a lot.

Search from Vegas.com

I checked the other day for a place to stay from 6th-9th and found premiere rooms in The Stratosphere for $100/night...looks like a cool place, its at the far end of the strip though.
