I hear you. I went through much of what you described when I was 17 to 20. Walked away when I was 21, in the middle of the night, moved to Florida, have not been back in 10 years.

What I am talking about now is different than the dealer/user dream. I am talking about the carefree easy living mentality.

Not letting much of anything bother me, and just straight up enjoying life without the addition of too much drama, if any.

With age, I have developed a series of 'givens' that have proven themselves over and over to be true. I try not to make concrete philosophical changes, but more in the lines of material things.

I like fast cars. I have owned SUVs, luxury cars, etc etc There is nothing that brings me more joy than a car with 2 leather seats, and a powerful engine.

I like Italian clothes. I have tried others, but at the end of the day, nothing fits like Italian clothes and shoes. I do not bother trying anything else on. If it is not Italian, it does not touch my body.

I like Central/Eastern European women. I have tried Americans, Canadians, etc etc. The body, mindset, and intellect of this kind of woman can not be matched.

I like Cuban Cigars. I have tried cigars from the Domican Republic, Jamaica, USA, etc. There is nothing that comes close to a Cuban.

etc etc etc

Understand?

Why not get a wifey, real love, kids and have a life based on something else then money ?

I love money but I don't wanna base my lifestyle on it ... I make a lot of it but it's only stability for me . Not extra spending money

If you read my previous posts you will see that the whole point of my posts is not about money. When I clearly am talking about materialistic things I make that clear.

As for your question, you assume I do not have real love, kids, etc.

I have a daughter, more 'real' love, true happiness, and cash than any human could want.

The point of my posts is to give people who are searching for something good, a glimpse into what I have tried and what I feel is good and what I feel should be passed over.

No one will know until they try it themselves, but while you are young you should not idle down the engines. To be honest with you, I do not think at any age you should pull into the break down lane, throw up your hands, and let the world zoom by you.

At the end of the day, you can live a life consumed with cash flow, and thoughts of 'when will I retire", etc etc I find it is better to continue to build the nest egg until a level of comfort is discerned, then throw caution to the wind. Unfortunately, the level of security needed keeps being raised. So it is a constant battle.

I have been through it all... and at the end of the day I like nubile women that are high maintenance. The results are usually the same but the ride is amazing.

I have been back in Florida for a couple weeks, and I have tried to live the 'normal' life. Needless to say, I have a flight out of here on the 24th. I have spent the better part of the last 1.5 years on the road throughout the Carib and Europe, leading the rock star life. There are days I long for the peaceful existence, but then when I try to get back to the peaceful existence I realize how much more fun the 'life' is. The piles of materialistic shit gets left behind, for when I return, what really matters is the soft touch and sweet insides of Eastern/Cental European dancers.

I will opt for the 'easy' choice when I can no longer attract the 'tough' choice.

"All my friends are dancers, thugs, and drug dealers. What some people consider insanity, I consider normal life. What you consider normal, I consider prison"
i can definitely see your point of view. i've thought about all of the same things myself, many times.

all the years we'd chatted back and forth, i honestly had no idea there was this other side to you, waiting to get out.

i think i've tried to move things in the right direction for myself. though my entire life, snowboarding, and the mountains, have been the things i always dreamed about being able to enjoy full-time, living directly on the slopes of a world class resort. other than my currently broken ankle, i've made that a reality. i hate having to deal with cleaning shit up, the daily bullshit, etc, so rather than get some house i have to worry about, i have an ultra-low maintaince condo where absolutely *everything* is taken care of for me.

regarding cars, i've always LOVED sports cars, and now i have the means to be able to enjoy them. this is a serious weakness of mine.

the things i want to do more of (other than continuing to snowboard and hike every day) are traveling, and going back to University. i really need to get my act together on these two things. i read about your adventures and i have to admit i drool.

female companionship: sounds like an amazing time, but i think i'd just feel lonely at the end of the day, with the type of women you are describing. though again, i can *certainly* see your point of view.

a question: honestly David, it sounds like you are burning a huge amount of money traveling so extensively, in the style you do. doesn't this worry you?

i know you wanted to talk to me the other day, sorry we didn't get the chance to chat.

Dave

It has always been there, I just rarely could be bothered talking to most people as they live their sheltered lives and as they get older their minds close more and more. So I surround myself with people who still have an open mind. There are constantly new people entering my life, as the world is full of people like us. You just need to find them, and put the neon light on saying, "Hey, yes, I do understand". Language becomes a huge issue in this arena. I was recently in a guys castle in Czech Republic, hanging out, using a Slovakian chick as a translater. At the end of the night (morning) I turned to him and said (via the chick) "My friend, there are many people like us out there, I have met many of them. Take care.".

Basically the same situation I have been setting myself up with. I have a moderately sized house in Florida, my loved ones stay at. It is paid for, and it costs me about $1500 a year in insurance and property tax (Florida Rocks). Other than that, I rent or lease my lodging elsewhere. I got over the owning shit a while ago. I find it easier to live life with no anchors. It is good to have a place to call home, but it becomes less and less necessary.

Weakness, nahhh. As I said in my last post, I have tried most everything. I like speed, and leather. I have owned Porsches, Corvettes, Ferarris, Grand Nationals, and countless muscle cars from the 60's and early 70's. I am currently driving a 2005 350Z while in the USA. Not the most expensive thing, but it is what I like currently.

Self enlightenment and learning about things that truly interest me, are what I like to do when I have time. Now that I am not educating myself for cash flow, or learning to meet some sort of test, I find learning to be enjoyable again. It was always about "You must know this to pass a test" or "You must know this to make a fortune" which turned out be to be complete bullshit.

This is a mistake many make. The women I love and am loved by, just happen to work in strip clubs. That is the job they chose, these are the clubs I hang out in. Nothing more. The clubs I go to, whether in the US or around the world, I look at differently than most people. Most people look at them as a place to go to get a lap dance. I go to them, with the mindset of, "I am going to make a new friend here or meet my next girlfriend". I was in Barcelona 2 weeks ago, and within 10 minutes I had a new friend out of the club and out on the town. It is a mindset that appeals to me and to them about me. I could type for days and most would never understand. You would have to see it for yourself. I will say this, and say it clearly, I do not spend any money in strip clubs other than drinks. When you start spending money on the girls, you are deemed a client. I am working on a book of my experiences, one day it will be finished...

My passport is getting full of stamps. I have been to: Italy, Czech Republic (5 times), Slovakia, France, Holland, Austria, Spain, Portugal, All over the USA, and all throughout the Caribbean in the past year. I have the good fortune of having girlfriends (I use the term in a different way than you think) in most of the countries. The cash really isn't an issue. If I light up $10K a month in airfare and hotels, it doesn't effect the principle or cash that is coming in.

I will post my pictures soon. I think once you see the pictures you will understand.

You list all these places and repeatedly talk about eastern/central european women, yet I don't see Hungary on that list. Some of the most beautiful women in the world there. I couldn't agree more about Czech. Prague is one of my favorite cities out of all I've been to.

Next time you're out that way, spend some time in Balaton and Budapest in Hungary. Especially when there is nice weather.

I will check it out, thanks for the suggestion.

Check out this one, for a gentle glimpse of how I am currently living: "The Sovereign Individual - Mastering The Transition To The Information Age"

One of the thing that fucks me up right now, is the governments bullshit.

I basically live freely, but about once a month I hit a brick wall and I say, "Oh yeah, I have to deal with these fucks again". Whether it be passport control, or some other tedious faceless government entity. Does not matter what country it is.

It is a shame, but I wish Dr Jason Rhino, the founder of FlashCa$h, would get involved in this conversation. As he is the person I consider as close to a brother as it gets without doing DNA tests. Unfortunately, I am the more vocal of the two of the us.

I've read it because everyone told me it's good. Indeed it's a good book but I found plain stupid repeating the ideea every 3 pages ... maybe Coleho should think about it. His other books were annoying too...

I made my first million in '97 I think.. unfortunately they weren't USD

Dr Rhino, was in Budapest a month ago.

My current girlfriend is from BudaPest. I have a close, close friend who is in Romania right now, and a chick who was really cool just went back to Bulgaria. How is that for Eastern Europe

Another chick, I had to leave on the island when I went to Europe a few weeks ago is also from Buda... Have not gotten too deep into the friendship yet, but working on it.

So needless to say, they are not on my list, but I experience their greatness daily. I have to limit my journies based upon weather. I need warmth, so most of Eastern Europe is out of the question from this point forward.

Very nice! Bulgaria is great too as long as you are on the beneficial side of corruption. A friend owned a club or 5 at some resort towns on the Black Sea. Never seen anything quite like 3 of the most beautiful women in the place all hanging over one fat old guy. Very awe inspiring, it brought a tear to my eye.

I haven't been to Romania yet, but thats on my list of places to go at some point.

While I agree about Eastern European women, there were no lack of them in Spain(Barcelona oh my), Italy, and France as well. Hungarians are my favorite so far. Last time I was there I was with a playboy model who was from the area.

*Edit: If you are looking for hot bodies and hot weather, swing down to Brazil!

I find the Bulgarians to be a little too stalky built for me. Really cool attitudes, and great to hang out with, but a tad too manly.

Italians, which is my heritage, I found to be great, but the country sucks. I will not get into a battle about why it sucks, but this is just my overall opinion.

French - I have access to a great number of Frenchies because of where I live. Nice bodies, great attitudes, but at the end of the day they are French

Barcelona - Funny you bring this up. I was there a few weeks back, finishing up my move there. I will be in Barcelona for good in the middle of January. I will be using it as my base of operations to continue my journies throughout Europe. I am sick of the trans-Atlantic flights once a month.

Romanians - I have some video of a chick I will put up soon. She was 1/2 Romanian 1/2 Kazakhstani. This hot semi-Asian look and was super intelligent. The one thing I have learned is, identify the Gypsies and run. Most of the Romanians are cool, the rest are thieves.

Lots of hot Russians in Israel.

I have had the good future of being able to hang out with many people from the Middle East... All men though. Very very cool people.

I would consider Israel for visit, which I plan on doing once I am in Europe.

I have heard great things about Sharm El Sheik in Egypt, Haifa in Israel, etc.

The Middle East is on the list, I just need to figure out exactly where I am going to visit, and when.

Nice thread, I must say. DavidD really gives some good insight, and I'm enjoying the read.

I'm sure this is very nice reading & inspiration for anyone with goals...
So I'm bumping the thread a bit

I'm not there yet but my mind is so set it's a pain sometimes.. No retreat, no surrender
Here are some things I think are good to keep in mind, whether rich or wannabe:

* Money itself isn't the key to happiness, it's what it's used for that does/doesn't. Make wise decisions.
* Don't stop thinking about the costs of things just because You can afford whatever You want...
* If You begin thinking doing heavy drugs is the shit, start finding out what You REALLY like instead... drugs = void-fillers...
* Bored? Do creative/productive things with Your money... Not for the money as much as for the challenges & goals.

Now, can we have some more "tales from the money vaults" please?
Cheers!

i may of hit a million before (if we're talking peso's) but $$'s it's still well beyond me, this read was a good read, and i hope eventually i'll hit that level, but for now i'd be happy w/ enough to be stable and a bit to pour back into the many projects gathering dust on my todo list due to lack of time / funds.

And as far as money not buying happiness, everyone is right, it can't, but it can sure buy alot of things to help you keep your mind off the fact that your unhappy

First million when I was 21.

Money has not given me happiness, money has given me the freedom to explore it.

Rather than get bogged down by the everyday crap of just making it to the next paycheck I have been given the unique perspective to see people and life from both sides. Having more money than you know what to do with will give you more insight into life, friends and the world than you could ever imagine.

Only people who have truly indulged in wealth will ever know what I am talking about.

You can argue and ramble about money and it's effects until you are blue in the face. But like most things in life you have to experience them to understand it.

Man I was a stupid kid.

The same story happened to me. But I was offered $200K and I was 14...

I regret not taking the money...

If I light up $10K a month in airfare and hotels, it doesn't effect the principle or cash that is coming in.

I was just adding it up for taxes. I have taken 12 trips this year and 10 were out of the country. I just need to work on the girlfriend part of it. I found a great girl and fell for her. So now i have to buy two tickets instead of one.

Take care."
awesome. it takes a hell of a lot to inspire me, but you do. after reading this, i want to simply hop on a plane and start my own adventure.

living with no anchors: i completely agree. i try to simplify and avoid long term commitments and hassles as much as possible. simplicity over all else.

regarding the sports car weakness - i suppose it really isn't, but many people regard it as such. the 350Z is a great car. i'm currently driving a C4S 911, thinking seriously about the Gallardo.

regarding University/education: this was always something i enjoyed, and never did it for any monetary gain. what ended up getting in the way of education was making money, as ridiculous as it might sound.

companionship: i understand where you're coming from, and what you're saying. it's the 'high maintenance' factor, along with never having the same person with you, that i'm not all that keen on. perhaps i'm just wired slightly differently than you in that respect.

what i'd really like is to simply find the right girl to travel the entire world with. oh, and i look forward to your book

i believe i more or less understand your use of the word (girlfriend). as far as the cash, i still figured you were burning much, much more than 10K a month. not bad at all. please post or email me pics David.

again, your thoughts, written down, always inspire me. right now (this minute) i feel like shutting things down, buying a plane ticket and flying away. it's tough walking away from it all though. it's going to happen, i just don't know exactly when.

hehe yep, you'd be surprised how often I get that response whenever I tell somebody about it, lol...

I was still in elementry school when I came out with that site and every day kids would come up to me and say stuff like "my mom said her whole office was talking about your website" lol... along with the obvious questions like "how much money do you make" lol. Other teachers would come to my classroom and pull me out of class all the time to get me to show them around the site and talk to me about it... good times
