awesome. it takes a hell of a lot to inspire me, but you do. after reading this, i want to simply hop on a plane and start my own adventure.
living with no anchors: i completely agree. i try to simplify and avoid long term commitments and hassles as much as possible. simplicity over all else.
regarding the sports car weakness - i suppose it really isn't, but many people regard it as such. the 350Z is a great car. i'm currently driving a C4S 911, thinking seriously about the Gallardo.
regarding University/education: this was always something i enjoyed, and never did it for any monetary gain. what ended up getting in the way of education was making money, as ridiculous as it might sound.
companionship: i understand where you're coming from, and what you're saying. it's the 'high maintenance' factor, along with never having the same person with you, that i'm not all that keen on. perhaps i'm just wired
slightly differently than you in that respect.
what i'd really like is to simply find the right girl to travel the entire world with. oh, and i look forward to your book

I have the good fortune of having girlfriends (I use the term in a different way than you think) in most of the countries. The cash really isn't an issue. If I light up $10K a month in airfare and hotels, it doesn't effect the principle or cash that is coming in.

i believe i more or less understand your use of the word (girlfriend). as far as the cash, i still figured you were burning much, much more than 10K a month. not bad at all. please post or email me pics David.
again, your thoughts, written down, always inspire me. right now (this minute) i feel like shutting things down, buying a plane ticket and flying away. it's tough walking away from it all though. it's going to happen, i just don't know exactly when.
