I am sure this is just an oversight and not intentional. These SP2 pop codes are very new and will take some tweaking. I will be sure to forward this thread to TCG in case anyone else didn't yet.

So far I've tested it on 2 computers and it has hijacked both.

Both computers are running WindowsXP with SP2

Both computer have the Google Toolbar running in Internet Explorer

If I use Firefox, it doesn't get hijacked though.

Does anyone have any theory on why this would happen in IE and not Firefox?

I haven't been able to recreate the problem, was it fixed over the weekend or are people still noticing this problem?

When I click the link that brisk gave:

http://www.tv69.com/xcons/exit/hardcore_sp2.html

It gives a few popups and then a minimized window saying:

Updating browser.

It doesn't do anything as hijacking. So either your computer is infected brisk or you are seeing ghosts man

Silvercash links do the same thing.

Another thing about the TCG hosted galleries is that alot of the galleries I click on end up at an ad page without any refcodes. Anyone elses galleries doing this?

Your complaining about banner clicks and all the lost traffic trades, how many people on your website click the banners really??? I've run tgp's before and not that many click the banners 1-3% max, a very small % and you won't notice jack all difference with the few that click the traffic cash gold banners.

Also the reason your referrer code isn't in the exit is because programs can't afford to pay you out $35 per trial and pay on exits, they have to keep the exits for themselfs these days because if they paid you on all exits they would lose money.

Brisk, haven't you been reading everyones replies? Nobody can reproduce this "Hijacking" you are talking about in any browser. It appears to be some local issue with you.

As I already mentioned its a sp2 code behavior from what I can see but it does exist.

If you have a hub or a site that opens a TCG site in a new window and the surfer closes that site before joining or moving on the exit that follows does take over the last open window. I see this on 4 sp2 machines. He does not have a local problem on his PC.

The exit code is something very similar to the ones i posted.

http://earthunplugged.org/aa/

When the page is closed the exit will popup in the last used window..

If you dont have any windows open , you wont notice it , or if you have multiple versions of i.e. running it wont pop into the old window it will pop a new window..
