Outstanding. We have not had network downtime with our servers the entire time we have been with Candid (over a year).

Any other opinions on CANDID HOSTING?

Late 2003 there were lots of posts about their support being slow

How is the support now, etc... ?

We experienced serious growing pains. I have been here for 4 1/2 years and in late 2002 and into 2003 we had a large influx of clients and it was hard to keep up with the growth. Some mistakes were made and some clients were not given the level of service they should have been given. When we were purchased by a large hosting company a little over a year ago we started back at the beginning and the first thing that was done was an overhaul of our network. The next thing that was done was hiring more admins. We have awesome admins who have been here for a long time who have now helped staff and train additional admins so that we now have a high level of support 24 hours a day. We are here to stay and there are be exciting changes coming soon. You should see some big announcements starting in late Dec into January. Thanks to you guys who have stuck with us.

Techsupport of candidhosting is great in my experience.

Usually they do response very fast to e-mails or calls.

That's my experience of the last 2 years.

i have servers at the vancouver colo (i believe netnation was swallowed by hostway who was swallowed by candid) .. sounds like a bible story !

either way - not one red blip on my monitoring in 2 months. 2 months may not be long, but all our other hosts have had at least one tiny infraction in this time.

Again ths thing pops up.

If that thing was anywhere near true...do you think any of those hosts would be in business?

There are errors in that thing, and hosts with more than a handful of customers will show more downtime than they really have. To many factors, like shutting off a deadbeats account who is running this thing will rack up hours of down time...that is just one failure in this monitor...

Oh and KON (cotsios)..dont forget you still owe us $$

hrm - check the "i believe" .. altho its more like "i don't care to follow the corp history" ;)

as far as noob goes, believe or not i was a netnation tech monkey about 4, 4.5 years ago ? for over a year, too.

just didn't really follow what happened after - until they got bought and became affordable

either way - we colocate, but the network is solid
