George Bush is NOT A REPUBLICAN!

And he's certainly not a conservative in any way shape or form.

Look at his actions, not his words, and it's obvious.

Kinda weird, itn't it?

Bush is a puppet.

Or maybe a ventriloquist's dummy is more accurate...

The poor don?t benefit from either party? the democrats will make them think they do.. but they don?t? look at historically poor and democrat cities.. like the real Washington DC? that place f'n sucks. Marian Berry, he did lots of good!

The rich pay a higher % of tax, and at a much higher volume... if there were no rich people in this country government as it is today would collapse.

If they get a tax cut they just get to keep THEIR OWN MONEY

There should be a national THANK THE RICH day... for supporting this ungrateful country.

All this rich/poor BS was devised as some democrat think tank and then tested with case studies... you're all brainwashed.

The thing that SUCKS about porn is in order to save the Industry you have to back what really is the WORST party for the country.

Yes, Kerry fucking BLOWS... he's the most liberal person in government. That is NOT GOOD.

We need the Libertarian Party big time.

Agreed. And much of what they stand for is unwritten/unspoken in our politically correct era. While Ann Coulter doesn't believe a word she says and only says what she says for controversy and book sales (she's no different Britney or Madonna really), she is as popular as she is because she says what a lot of Republicans would like to say and is what they believe. Namely that Government should be all powerful because Government is good and can do no wrong, all women should be in a kitchen where they belong, old people should be swept aside because they are a burden to the system (same with mentally ill and the homeless), any country that disagrees with any aspect of American politics, religion, and culture is an enemy, blacks should be second class citizens because that's their rightful place, and sex and drinking is immoral and perverse because it's dealt that way in the bible (nevermind that Republicans consume their share of porn (even work in porn) and drink their share of booze.

This doesn't represent all Republicans but a large silent populace. The tenants above have been bleached and toned down in the past few decades, but the principles are there and always ready to resurface when the opportunity presents itself.

True, neither party really benefits the poor. But a Republican government does favor the wealthy more. Any party that prefers little to no regulation will be favorable to large companies that will do whatever it takes to squeeze as much money from customers as it can. It comes in many forms such as 1) charging much more for a service or good than the service or good is worth 2) moving production to 3rd world countries where production is cheaper and 3) use cost cutting measures whereever possible even if it means not adhering strictly to common sense safety and health codes

every one of your points is done equally by the left and the right... BUT... the left has done a good job making you THINK that republicans so more bad...

outsource to 3rd woud countries keeps costs low so you can buy a dell for $699 instead of $1699... don't see many people complaining about that.. it's all BS spin....

a true Republican favors tax breaks for all.. smaller governmnet... more in YOUR pocket.

So you have fallen for the lie that 'liberal' is a bad word? I bet there are PLENTY of things in society today that you benefit from and enjoy on a daily basis that are the direct outcome of liberal people in the past 50 or so years.

It's suppose to work that way and maybe it did originally but greed killed it. They can make Nike shoes for probably pennies. Do you get a break on your Nike shoes? No, you still pay $200+ dollars. The price of the shoe has increased, not decreased. It has cost more to buy every year just like every other product.
No breaks, yet the cost of making the shoe decreased when it went to a 3rd world country. In essence, companies are able to double their profit margin by increasing the price AND getting it made cheaper. The consumer doesn't get a break no matter where the shoe or computer is made, unfortunately.

And you have to consider, who is going to be able to afford these products when the jobs are in another country? The American that used to work at Dell when it was in the US had to find another job, probably one that pays less.

Albeit, many American workers could have done something about outsourcing a long time ago. If the unions had taken a stand on the issue.

Factory workers were fine when low paying jobs were going oversease. It didn't effect them and their decent paying job. But companies soon realize, well if they could ship low paying jobs overseas and get products made cheaper, we can do the same for high paying jobs. And that's when you started seeing tech jobs and manufacturing jobs go oversease too.

Basically the factory workers and unions cut their own throat by allowing any form of outsourcing (or should we call it exploitation). If they had, perhaps they would be still working at their high paying tech job within the US rather than seeing it go to India. But that's what happens with shortsightedness.

Btw, those companies LOVE customers like you who think you're getting a break because of the outsourcing. With your logic, if Nike shoes were made in the US they would cost $500 rather than $200. Yeah right. Who's being fooled?

I love how he blasts Kerry for what his plans would cost when his current and proposed plans call for much more not even counting the cost of war.

I wish the Republicans had someone else on the ballot.

I look at Bush and there are a few things I like, but he just doesn't seem like he has 100% conifidence in what he is saying and frankly he's got an empty lost look in his face and eyes so often when he's speaking it scares the hell out of me thinking we're trusting this man with the keys to the nukes.

I don't know if Kerry will be better or worse but I think we need a change right now just to get us in another direction.

Interesting sub text. Labor = Capital. i.e, if LABOR is too expensive, then capital costs for automation go down and would make it feasible to invest in a machine that does the work of Labor.
1/2 the Industrial revolution is a product of this equation.
