Not having Gordon pitch the 8th.

He's pitched well lately and he gets to pitch at home, in the playoffs.

Torre's only down fall is, in big games he gets too anxious to use Rivera, instead of going with his usual set up of Gordon/Rivera. He expects the world of Mariano all the time and no one can be perfect all the time.

Yup. Rivera has been walking alot of people lately. A leadoff walk was a guarantee run.
