I think it does.. another thing about making several tgps or free sites is that with a good traffic trading script and know how you can build up your own traffic more by sending your surfers around your network and also increasing your chance of making a sale. I'm not just talking about CJing him to death either.

You have a surfer on your tgp and he surfs 4 of your galleries not signing up for any but then gets skimmed to another one of your sites and signs up for one of the sites there..

Who would you rather send the surfer to, another free site or another one of your free sites?

When you start out it's best to learn everything yourself first. You do not hire gallery builders you learn to build galleries yourself first. Think about it.. if the builder you hired was so good why wouldn't he just build them for himself and hire someone to just submit them Would be much more money. So main thing is to know first what you doing. Same goes for the traffic, if you do not know what your are doing any traffic you get/buy will be wasted so if you pay for the traffic before learning the trade it's a bigger waste of money. Hire people ONLY after you got everything under control so the person you hire actually becomes a good investment.

not sure if you are sarcastic in case you are not, quite the opposite.. ask him clearly about his net otherwise he's talking gross. Been in the biz 7 years now I have an idea about how much false bragging many do. Also, unless you can verify directly with their bank account/can view their credit history to see how much debt they carry/ get a notarized copy of their tax return or you're talking to a public corp (and unlike Enron ofcourse) you will never know how much of BS anyone's giving you vs how much real. Also, nobody would or should tell you how much they really make cos that should be private. Also, most that have their own proggy will inflate their earnings by approx 10x or give you such impression cos that's part of the marketing and then many will self-deceive by thinking gross and net same shit. Did you EVER hear ANY proggy say they have bad Conversion Ratio? So don't believe everything you hear (unless again, you were just sarcastic there)

you know, thats why i thought about trying to build a partnership with a designer. i can't design worth a damn so the synergies would be great. but it would be too much of a hassle.

Well, I wasn't being sarcastic.

If someone spends $300 daily on AdWords and makes back $500, then he makes $200 daily profit, thus he makes $6k per month.

He must be stupid to say "I make $15 k monthly in this biz".

Sure, many affiliate programs and different webmasters exaggerate, post fake stats, fake money etc. But If I wanted to exaggerate I'd just say I make $50 k monthly or whatever. When i see someone on GFy saying "I made $7.5 last month", I always assume it's profit.

BTW - I really don't understand the bullshit with fake stats, fake money, pretending you're a player. I think one must be a very insecure person to pretend here he is someone he really isn't , just to gain respect on a message board. And when an affiliate program says the convert at 1:200 and had a record month last month, then it is somethign different. That's just marketing and I am immune to it.

You don't really have to be able to design like a pro when it comes to tgp galleries as the matter of fact, should be the other way. Try to keep your gallies a bit amateurish. TGP surfers don't want to see how well you can design they mainly want to see what kinda content you and your sponsor got. Just do some effective designs/texts so tgp surfers would click on your sponsor links that's all I feel like spamming our own board url here but will control lol.

Hiring out is good if it allows you to do what you are best at.
You're comparing apples to oranges.

This guy is buying galleries AND buying submission services. Bad idea. If he wants to get in the gallery submission game he needs to get his hands dirty.

And quiet agreed with me in this very thread, maybe you should check your reading comprehension skills. Do you have somebody on staff to help you with that?

my bad. thought you were talking about gallies too but yes, sure a designer could help in many ways but then again would probably be wiser to just pay him per project unless you have a huge proggy that demands a full-time designer as an employee
