I heard a thing on the tv that said fat cells may contain stem cells that are needed for this research.

from what i've read stem cell research could mean cures for loads of the current major health problems. they will even be able to grow new parts of the body such as eyes, hearts etc in the near future.

i think the controversy currently is that they have to fertilise a human egg or use aborted foetuses to get the stem cells (i think).

This issue is why Kerry will be getting my vote. Stem cell research is the greatest hope in finding a cure for the disease I suffer from - diabetes.

If they can create me good new pancreas that creates insulin like most people's do out of stemm cells one day I'll be ecstatic.

But Bush makes it impossible for researchers to get funding for research invloving use of stem cells.

I call this murder. The lack of this research alone will probably mean I die 20 years earlier than I should.

I'm Diabetic as well. Although i doubt I'll ever see this happen in my lifetime.

Yeah my ex-girlfriend her father had M.S. And stem cell research shows great promise for people with the disease and she actually the one who enlighten me to the topic. Many people could live better lifes with this...

Another example of how fucked up Bush is. He knows he's against it yet since Kerry brought it up Bush is out there today saying in his speeches that he's the first president that there has been stem cell research. More fucking bullshit.

This issue can be boiled down to - "the start of life".

It is an issue faced by many leaders for centuries and centuries.

Currently we get "stem cells" from embryo's which are fertilized eggs now multi-celled.

This issue is when does life start?

I say life starts when the fertilized egg has implanted into the uterus wall successfully.

I put myself on a diet consisting of

12% artificially produced chemicals (pesticides, hormones, preservatives)

33% high fructose corn syrup

9% animal fat

21% artificial fats

and 25% refined complex carbohydrates

Im so excited with the wonderful food these days and hopefully in the near future, we can move from 95% artificial/genetically modified intake to 100%.

If you are in a bit of a situation and would like to make changes to your health,.... start off by investing in a correct supplement manufacturer.....

..... And ask these guys where to find a practitioner in your area because if these guys know them..
