::::Program to print out long Message board threads:::::
I was wondering if anyone knew of any programs that could download specific threads off message boards into word docs or text files for offline reading.
I want to read a long thread 63+ pages and would like to do it offline. Thanks, Spankstrocko |

Wouldn't be hard to put together. You want something that just goes against GFY or includes other boards ?

I am looking for the program to be able to do this on any message board.
GFY and others as well. I have one thread on a business message board that I want a few people to read so I want to be able to print it out and send it to them. Word doc would be best. ICQ 283948045 me for details if you can do this. Spankstrocko |

I have programs that pull from here, Oprano, Oprano's old board, VNWR and Netpond's old board. I wrote them a year or 2 back to build a database of the various boards for my own use. The base proggy is just a pretty simple spider then I have definition tables that define the parsing for each board. It was not a long effort, but like I say, each time I add a board I have to go do a definition. Some definitions are easy, some are fairly fuzzy. I am not sure if there is a better way to pull it off. I don't run my icq from here (I am at a client site at the moment) but if you wanted to give me detail you could email me at sarettah at hatterasdesigns.com and I could tell you what I thought it would take.
