What to do with a kid that has dyslexia and ADD?
need some advice to give to a friend...
his brother probably has dyslexia and ADD or ADHD |

take him to a shrink that specializes in treating kids with ADD.
I happen to have ADHD and be Lysdexic. There is medication that can help, but more than that understanding the underlying issues will help your friends family cope. How old is your friends brother? |

I had ADD when I was younger. My mom changed my diet (took out sugar, preservatives, food coloring, stuff like that) to keep me from having to take meds. Also keep him active in sports / activities. Too many parents are lazy and opt for drugs which fucks a kid up more in the long run.
In regard to dyslexia, I'd think it's just a matter of finding an educator who can help train him to read the right way.

Yep stay away from drugs
Also, how dedicated is your friend on this issue? Do they/can they afford 5-8k in doctor fee? I'll consult a friend fmi if ur intrst |
